A Michigan junior varsity high school football player is out for the season after a horrific moment took place this week, with a rival fracturing the spine of an opponent in a senseless attack.
The shocking video occurred during the third quarter of a game between Lakeshore and Kalamazoo Central, when a 15-year-old defender for the Lancers got tangled with an opponent.
After the play went away from the individual matchup between the two, with the 15-year-old prone on the ground, the offensive lineman from Kalamazoo Central leaves his feet and lands with his full body weight on his rival.

Ban the sadistic brat for life from ANY sport.
No pity for the parents allowing and encouraging their children to play this so-called sport.
Should sue the school district and arrest the kid for battery w/ intent.
The reason these perps do this is because they know no one will ever take them to task for it.

This has all of the hallmarks of bad coaching.
The big kid has probably been screamed at for not following the play to the end. Sometimes kids with low mental acuity will not be able to understand what that means.
I think it was a stupid play, by a stupid kid, who plays for stupid coaches.
I am glad the kid on the ground is going to recover.

Wgen I watch high school football on TV, I notice that just about everyone on the field turns into a spectator when the ball is more than 10 feet away from them.
I liken them to the New York Post, so I agree more than disagree.
I mostly dislike their website and presentation.

I used to get yelled at for not blocking until the play was over. When the play had gone to the other side of the field, this fat guy and the fat guy I was blocking just had good seats that we hadn’t paid for. I saw no sense in continuing to push him.
I think that is what happened. The big kid is just dumb.
Football has always had it’s dirty players and cheap shots.
