The next generation of Meta Ray-Bans, Meta's Oakley Vanguard sports glasses, and the Ray-Ban display glasses with neural link wristband were some big reveals at the 2025 Meta Connect Keynote with Mark Zuckerberg. But it wasn't just hardware that was the focus at the developer's conference. Meta also announced Meta Horizon Studio and Horizon TV.

Folks, I admit...as I have gotten older, I have largely (and deliberately) distanced myself from pop culture to the point I am generally an ignoramus about celebrities, something my wife teases me about.

I came home from work one night, and while I don’t watch television, my wife does, and she had some show on television that I was absentmindedly watching as we discussed the day’s events, me with my coat still on.

As I watched, I saw it was a group of people in some kind of living room, and there was a dark haired woman who had big curves in her body and huge eyelashes, and I everyone in that show seemed to be hanging on her every word.

When I finally asked “Who is that woman?” she sighed, rolling her eyes at me in semi-humorous exasperation and said “That’s Kim Kardashian. Don’t you ever pay attention to anything?”

LOL, at the time she was a big thing (apparently) and I had no idea who she was!

I hope I'm not that weak. I've passed the half century mark, lived a good life, and don't really have anything to lose at this point except my soul. I like my soul. They can have the houses, boats and other toys. They are just things.
