Simply put, illegal immigration is a felony under Mexican law. In fact, Article 123 of the General Law of Population mandates that “a penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five hundred thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.”

Other penalties regarding illegal immigration per the General Law of Population are as follows:
*Article 125 – Foreigners who have legal issues involving immigration will be at risk of deportation from Mexico rather than being sentenced to prison.
*Article 126 – Any foreigner who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported from Mexico.
There are also penalties that will be imposed on Mexican nationals who provide assistance to illegal aliens in terms of illegally entering the country. These penalties will officially cause them to be considered criminals under the law and are as follows, per the General Law of Population:

So the US has been real stoopid. And now the EU is not far from becoming an Islamic controlled failure. Odd eh? It was better with borders!
I remember hearing many years ago that Mexico has quite a few laws on the books about to keep foreigners (particularly Americans) from owning property and businesses, and more recently to stop gentrification.
Basically, gringo money is fine as tourism, but not for displacing their property ownership. Which honestly, you can’t really blame them for that.
IMO if you're here illegally...if you're working here illegally...if you're claiming government benefits illegally...you're expelled! No exceptions! No appeals! No lawyers!
So they let all those illegals cross into their country to cross into ours?
If we can impose reciprocal tarriffs. We should also be able impose reciprical immigration.
it always killed me that Mexico would not allow a US citizen to own property/ real estate.
A US citizen CAN directly own property in Mexico, but only indirectly own property if the property is within 50 km of the ocean or 100 km of the border. Then you can own it through a bank trust.
My image of Mexico is Sarah Conner hiding out in a dust bowl.
My image of Mexico is from Pancho and Lefty
I believe that’s because of Mexican-American War when American troops crossed northern border and landed at Veracruz.
Among other things, the massive invasion of the US by Mexicans is part of a strategy to reconquer the territories ceded to the US by Mexico.
Under Mexicamn law, any Mexican citizen leaving Mexico has to register with their local concilares, but they don’t. So they is breakin their own law too.
But the true master of Pancho and Lefty is the man who wrote it (and has a cameo in Willie and Merle's video).
A big story is how Mexicans, including illegals, those with visas and naturalized US Citizens are retiring to Mexico. Assisting is is that many naturalized citizens have dual citizenship.
When Fox (Club For Growth) ran for president he won because he had the vote of Mexicans in the US. When Calderon (Catholic social conservative) won because he had the vote of Mexicans in the US. Unfortunately Calderon waged a very bloody war against the drug cartels without support from the US. The result was that Mexico subsequently flipped the other direction.
