Woke Texas student repeatedly reenacts Charlie Kirk's murder at Turning Point USA event

A Texas State University student has faced public backlash for repeatedly reenacting Charlie Kirk's assassination at a memorial held in his honor.

Video shared on social media shows the unidentified man mocking and imitating Kirk's death and spitting near people attending Monday's on-campus memorial.

Gov. Gregg Abbott led calls for disciplinary action and urged the university to 'expel this student immediately', alleging such 'conduct is not accepted at our schools'.

The student's vile acts appeared to be targeting members of Kirk's nonprofit organization Turning Point USA, which was hosting the memorial.

Eyewitness video shared online shows the student confronting TPUSA members during the memorial and cursing as he slaps himself in the neck.

'Charlie Kirk got hit in the neck, *****,' the student shouted, before repeating the slap and vibrating his body as if to mimic recoiling from a bullet's impact, the video shows.

He then climbed a nearby statue and repeated the action yet again, this time dropping to the ground after the vibrating motions.

Abbott shared a video of the interaction on his X account, urging Texas State to take action against the student.

'Mocking assassination must have consequences,' the governor said.

The university is aware of the 'disturbing' incident that unfolded on the school's San Marcos campus, Texas State President Dr. Kelly Damphousse said in a statement.

The student is then heard saying '**** that ******' as he walks away from the crowd of shocked demonstrators.

The phrase “86 47” combines slang and numerical reference to convey a political message. 86 is American slang meaning to throw out, get rid of, or refuse service to, originating from 1930s diner jargon where it indicated an item was sold out.

Over time, the term evolved in certain contexts to imply more severe forms of removal, including elimination or, in rare and more recent usages, assassination. However, lexicologists note that the meaning “to kill” is not widely adopted due to its recency and limited usage, though it appears in crime fiction and underworld slang.

The number “47” refers to Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States. Therefore, “86 47” is interpreted as a call to remove or eject Trump from office, functioning as a silent protest symbol among critics.

This interpretation gained widespread attention in May 2025 when former FBI Director James Comey posted a photo of seashells arranged in the shape of “86 47” on a beach, captioning it “cool shell formation on my beach walk”.

The post sparked controversy, with Trump administration officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and FBI Director Kash Patel, stating it was being investigated as a potential threat. Donald Trump and his allies, including his son Donald Trump Jr., interpreted the post as a call for assassination.

Comey deleted the post and clarified that he did not realize the numbers were associated with violence, stating he opposes violence of any kind. Linguistic experts argue that while “86” can theoretically mean “to kill” in specific contexts, such an interpretation without clear intent is a stretch, and the phrase is more commonly understood as a demand for political removal rather than physical harm.

The term has also appeared on protest merchandise, such as T-shirts and buttons, often marketed as satirical or expressive political statements.

I don’t know about that. I remember seeing a bunch of old, white, House and Senate members imitating Derek Chauvin by posing on one knee for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. /s

I have pictures with that a-hole. I was one of his underlings and yes, actually believed the BS until the HRC server ordeal.

The HRC server issue demonstrated, through his actions, that he was a political hack. He might talk nice and say the right things, but on all the key issues where one party or it’s key leaders were impacted he showed “extreme* bias.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/07/05/extremely-careless-and-7-other-comey-quotes-that-explain-the-fbis-clinton-email-findings/

What made the HRC server issue even worse in my eyes was that while he was running interception to protect HRC, coming up with all new legal concepts like “extreme carelessness,” not to be confused with negligence which has legal implication, we were SLAMMING a you US Navy guy for far less: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristian_Saucier

The navy guy took a few pictures for posterity’s sake. He didn’t sell them to anyone, there was no damage to national security...

Meanwhile HRCs server was intended to derail the FOIA and other government data retention requirements so that SHE has control of the information.

She lied about what she did. And then she tried to cover it up. And finally, national security WAS impacted despite Comey trying to protect her by saying it had not been. It is a known fact that besides Guccifer, there were other ports where folks were accessing this information:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guccifer

So we slam a young man, no evil intentions, no harm done. But protect HRC that had wrong intentions and did do serious harm.

Trump did right in pardoning him.

This issue highlighted how partisan Comey was.
