The Overton Window has shifted. A year ago, even contradicting liberal ideology by asserting simple biological reality could cost you your job. Now, the Democrat base is getting a taste of its own cancelation medicine.
When news first broke of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, moonbats could not contain their vicious joy. Some are paying a price for their incontinence.
This Florida teacher has been placed on leave:
(video on link, this was teaching YOUR kids with YOUR tax dollars)
People have had enough, even in the ultrawoke realm of comic books:
Airline pilot Andrew Schweizer is quoted as posting:
“Charlie Kirk was a ******* Nazi and the only good kind of Nazi is a dead Nazi. There is no reality in which anyone is better off with him being alive. I won’t pretend to be even slightly conflicted or upset someone put him down. And yes I chose those words deliberately.”
The flying cockroach has been “removed from service” according to United Airlines.
This is apparently parody, though with lefties it can be hard to tell:
Corporations are mainly run by people who are neither patriots nor moonbats, but who position themselves according to which way they think the wind is blowing. The wind is no longer blowing from the left.

It’s not cancelation.
It’s accountability.
They really don’t like it.
It’s both.
It’s accountability.
Excellent point.
Jk Rowling was targeted for cancelation for stating the truth, for opinions that the left disagreed with.
The people now being fired are being fired for fomenting violence, celebrating murder...
There’s no comparison.
YouTuber WDW Pro did a 17 minute video on accountability culture this morning...

I highly recommend it.
The first is conducted by a mob.
The latter is carried out within the rules set down by civil society.
One last thought that should give everyone nightmares...

The single, most terrifying thing about the heinous evil people who celebrated the assassination of Charlie Kirk is that way too many of them are teachers.

I’m glad the left is finally getting to know what it feels like to be canceled and fired.
These public schools that are firing/suspending employees will likely be sued for viewpoint discrimination with the tax-payers picking up the tab.
Deserves repeating.
Conservatives were cancelled for holding an opinion that the left didn’t like.
Celebrating someones death is not just an opinion. It is hate speech and just plain evil, plus it shows a lack of common sense and decency. Any organization worth a damn is fully justified and correct in removing people like that from it’s staff.
If someone on the left wants to disagree with anything Charlie said, that’s perfectly fine. In fact it’s the essence of what Charlie did every day - open and respectful dialog.
You just don’t exercise the right to free speech in a hateful way without consequences - on either side.
I am proud to have had a hand in helping get two health care workers canned. One stated that if Mr. Kirk would have come to her ER she would not have treated him, the other stated she would not treat any MAGA folks.

Cancel Culture is when someone gets fired for a meme they shared 10 years ago while in high school from an anonymous account.
Getting fired for publicly supporting domestic terrorism & demonstrating you’re a threat to everyone around you is just real life in a civil society.

The dildo of accountability rarely comes lubed.
Nope. Celebrating political murder violates the code of conduct/terms of employment.
Here's a round-up of 25 egregious firings, investigations, and excesses from 2020, so you can remember just how bad things got.""I actively cataloged some of the worst behavior during 2020's cultural revolution.
Great. Now i have to lie to my children about why I just laughed so much.
