The Carolina Panthers have reportedly fired a junior employee over insensitive posts he made regarding the murder of Charlie Kirk.
According to the Charlotte Observer's Scott Fowler, Charlie Rock - who worked as the Panthers' Football Communications Coordinator - has been dismissed by the team over the alleged posts on Instagram.
Trump ally Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a Q&A event for Turning Point USA - the conservative nonprofit organization he founded back in 2012 - at Utah Valley University on Wednesday, with his assassination sending shockwaves across the world.
Images circulating on social media appear to show that Rock shared a video of Kirk saying 'it's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year' in order to protect Second Amendment rights, before adding his own comment.
He allegedly wrote alongside it: 'Why are yall sad? Your man said it was worth it...'
Another screenshot also shows Rock's Instagram account allegedly posting the song 'Protect Ya Neck' by the Wu-Tang Clan after Kirk was fatally shot in the neck on Wednesday.
The Panthers said in a statement Thursday: 'The views expressed by our employees are their own and do not represent those of the Carolina Panthers. We do not condone violence of any kind.
'We are taking this matter very seriously and have accordingly addressed it with the individual.'

As woke as the nfl is, I’m surprised they didn’t just give him a reprimand.
This is how you fight back, See a co-worker on social media, make the employer aware.

😆
A few of these type actions have been reported but hopefully there will be many more. If real, severe consequences are not visited on folks with brain / mouth disengagement, it will only get worse.
To some, losing their job is a tragedy but is the lesson learned? Hopefully ...
They are not alleged posts. They are actual posts. You might say he was alleged to have made them but even that is not in dispute.
Lord knows we have to call in and get these vile people fired.
It’s working well, I know some “teachers” who are unemployed today. Some nurses are coming as well.
Go to X, Lis of Tik Tok and you’ll find their posts and who they are.
Then call and complain.
The gloves are off after their murder of Charlie.
The only thing these demons understand is power and money.
It’s easy to get on the employers website. Just repost what the individual publicly stated and ask if this individual reflects their company’s values.
Been doing for hours to every single one of these bastards, especially teachers and nurse.
As a Medical professional we can’t put out social media that encourages assassination and or crimes. I don’t want to be treated by someone so evil inclined. Especially the anesthesiologist I just lodged a complaint against.
She was glad Charlie got shot and was actively rooting for his death, while wearing the uniform of the hospital. Dumb.
