People here who shoot have said that it wasn’t such a difficult shot.
If so the perp could already be out of the country. We are getting on to 6 or more hours since the deed itself.

Not really. Any deer hunter could make that shot with ease.
Pretty easy shot without a scope. A sure thing against a stationary target with one, even for an amateur.
