Grok says: As of the latest available information, the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination is not in custody, despite earlier reports suggesting otherwise. The investigation appears ongoing, with conflicting narratives about the suspect’s status contributing to the confusion.
Update: Gov Desantis on Fox News just said :they are looking for him.

They had a guy at the rally but he was just crazy. Kash said they had another guy in custody later but now he wasn’t the guy. So yes, they are still looking for him.

There’s a post down below with video of some guy getting taken into custody. He’s got a pellet rifle, is wearing flip flops, and looks to be fully prepared to clean up after his dog (roll of baggies). Presumably a victim of the frantic efforts to find the murderer.
I’m hoping he wasn’t the touted arrest.

High powered rifle. 200 yards. It was a pro. How else could he get away? Probably had help in the escape.

The person of interest was supposedly someone who interned at the Heritage Foundation, I repeat, NO ONE who interned at the Heritage Foundation would EVER do something like this so am glad he was released..whoever did do this, was a professional, a hired hit, not some nut who woke up this morning and decided to kill Charlie..this was well planned in advance, went to the right spot to shoot ONE shot, so a highly skilled gunman..question is who hired him and where is he
To: DIRTYSECRET
People here who shoot have said that it wasn’t such a difficult shot.

If so the perp could already be out of the country. We are getting on to 6 or more hours since the deed itself.

This kind of deliberate distraction has the appearance of planning and coordination.

RE: 200 yards....
Update I saw said 500 yards. Wonder if they really know. They don’t have the suspect.

Possible multiple planned distractions to allow the killer to escape.

Patel is thanking local law enforcement for partnering with the FBI. What was the FBI doing there? Hope we don’t discover that the shooter was well known to them.

The old man (one at the crowd) was kept in custody for interference of an investigation.
Sure sounds like he was running decoy.
I to smell organization.
