Blowout Cards, a major trading card retailer, said it will pay $5,000 to the Phillies fan who took a Harrison Bader home-run ball away from a 10-year-old boy after yelling at his father in the stands during Friday night’s 9-3 win over the Marlins.
“But there is a catch,” the company said the next day in a proposal on its website.
“We want that ball signed and inscribed by her — and only her, whoever she is — ‘I’m sorry’ so we can simply give it back to the kid. Our offer is official and the offer is firm.”
The woman’s identity remains unknown.

What a difference it would have made if the woman had gone over to the dad and his son and high fived them and laughed about it.
Instead of being vilified on the internet and having the reputation of being a b^^^ch and a Karen, people would be applauding her.
I agree.
Shouls have offered her $%0,000
In some respects, the kid ended up with the better deal. He got a box load of free stuff and a signed bat!
I don’t think the dad would agree to that. He’s already said publicly to leave her alone, to move on from this.
Even though I don’t like what she did, this is getting out of control. The kid was made whole, and then some. Has a story to tell for the rest of his life.
I hope Karen learns from this. The dad did nothing wrong. She was not entitled to that ball. He didn’t take it from her hand. Plus, it was the boy’s birthday. What kind of woman doesn’t want that kid to have the ball on his birthday? She’s not a nice person, and has gotten her comeuppance.

That was pretty cool!
Please disregard my post, I was responding to another article I read at that website.....I’ve requested that it be deleted.
She’s dyed her hair. Again. And no longer looks like Mrs. Pepe LePew. She’s also shelved the glasses and is back to the contacts.
When he waved his arms like a little kid after she startled him, that seems to indicate to me that he rarely, if ever, has had experience with physical confrontation.
I really don’t think she would’ve been capable of doing much damage, even if he refused to hand the ball over and she escalated it to physical fighting (unless she had a weapon or tried to push him down several rows of seats). She probably would’ve gotten a few weak slaps in, and then security would’ve come to get rid of her. If he retaliated, they definitely would’ve booted him as well.
“ Is that a normal thing when the ball goes into the stands?”
As long as the ball is loose, it’s open season. The minute the ball is picked up it’s over. The ball was loose. The dad picked it up. Karen is SOL.
That’s what I saw, but I’m not sure where she was when the ball hit the stands, either. But to me, I would think whoever touches the ball first, gets it.
it might have looked that way to you but the father had his family there and he instinctively averted a possible ugly scene by getting a deranged person away from them.. If he had been with his buddies or alone I doubt it would have gone the same way
International rule on foul balls is the first person that reaches the ball and has possession is entitled to keep it no matter where they were seated, end of story
Guys can’t hit girls. Ever. So they have to know how to handle something like this.
“I’ll send this young man and his family to the MLB World Series on me. Oh and you just won an RV as well.”
Good deed rewarded. ;-)

++++++++++
Minneapolis church shooter was swept out of the news faster.
Exactly. If you can cruise by the initial onslaught of attention, it will become yesterday’s news faster than you can say PDQ.
...a wiBtch?
