An all American success story. I can't tell how many hours of fun my friends and I had with this simple invention. Not to forget our dogs.

Then came the Karens. Municipal parks and beaches began banning them as they got bigger and heavier - flew longer and generally become more fun. But fun is anathema to the left.

Today, (in my township) they're banned on public school property. Just ridiculous, but fun while it lasted.

Quite possibly. My mother once did that to my father who was drunk, so who knows?

I’m not sure who has more fun, the dogs, or me watching them. They seem to be in their absolute glory.

Something that gets kids away from a screen, gives them exercise, and enjoyment with friends banned. Insane.

My older son plays ultimate frisbee at a competitive level. They have tournaments with some out of state. We went to some games to watch, it looks like so much fun. And pretty intense

One of the best MASH episodes where klinger almost “invents” the hula hoop and at the end there is a frisbee moment😂

Everyone involved in that decision should be looking for a job. You could run for school board, likely successfully, on that plank alone.

Frisbees were first flown at Yale and it was pie tins from the Frisbee Pie Company.

The sport must have grown. When I was in college, Ultimate Frisbee was football for the stoners.

Marty McFly invented the Frisbee in Back To The Future III when he launched a Frisbee pie plate at Mad Dog Tannen’s head.

We live across the street from a park that has frisbee golf stations set up. It seems that there is always someone there throwing frisbees to the various baskets set up to catch them. I had no idea it was such a popular sport.

After the Professor was rescued from Gilligan’s Island, he invented a flying disc toy, only to learn something like that had already been invented and marketed as a “frisbee.”
