Belated Texokie UPDATE
I didn't post about Texie's July pm to me because it included personal family challenges and I dare not share it if I don't have explicit permission to do so. I really did hope she would return soon after and now it's been about 2 months. I'll try some excerpts below.
To say she'd been facing challenges would be an understatement. She herself sounded her usual sweet self, but she had a death in the family in Feb., her husband's medical emergency starting a month later, and his ultimate death July 4. She said as a patriot, he would have approved the date of July 4.
She finished that pm, I have missed everyone so much. You and all on the thread are often in my thoughts. God bless you. texokie.
I replied, "I’m so sorry, Texie! It sounds like the trials of Job! You been through so much pain and loss - you must be so drained!
I hope you will join us when you are ready. *pausing to pray for you*"Here's part of her response:
Oh Ransom!!! It is hard, but truly it will all be ok. I thank you for the prayers. they are what are getting me through.
So many God-things happened while Darlin was in the process of passing. I KNOW God is with me (and all of us who are tied to Him.)

Thank you so much for the update on TEXOKIE. I think of her often and miss her. I knew she had some very difficult challenges, it’s just been so long since I’ve heard back from her, I just had to post openly about it.
