We all know that Big Pharma “creates customers, not cures”, but this is a very literal creation of customers.
I think holding my phone while sitting in the waiting room makes my BP go up. I relax with my arms down, and when they check my BP, it is usually close to 120/80, and my age plus 100 is far above that level. They do gripe about my slightly high cholesterol, but I take niacin for that(and other benefits) instead of the statin they prescribe. I have too many things to do with my life to get dragged down by drug side effects.
