I think holding my phone while sitting in the waiting room makes my BP go up. I relax with my arms down, and when they check my BP, it is usually close to 120/80, and my age plus 100 is far above that level. They do gripe about my slightly high cholesterol, but I take niacin for that(and other benefits) instead of the statin they prescribe. I have too many things to do with my life to get dragged down by drug side effects.

That’s fantastic BP! These days, I try not to get close enough to doctors that they can test my BP. Mine might actually think I’m already dead since he hasn’t seen me in 5 years.

Don’t sweat that cholesterol. The White Coats are full of it when it comes to cholesterol. It’s what your brain is made of. Stay away from statins.
