From posts made here, it appears to me that the shot may have been a lucky one. Do I understand correctly that the shot ricocheted off the top of his vest into Charlie’s neck, and that 1/4 inch above or below the entry point may have allowed Charlie to live? If so, this would seem to be the opposite of President Trump’s Butler assassination attempt. One quarter inch either way ... life is sometimes insanely random.

You’ve brought a thought to mind when you reminded me about how the shot “ricocheted” off of Charlie’s vest, and the contrast between the attempt on Trump and the “lucky shot” on Charlie.
Gods mind is not like ours and His plan doesn’t always make sense to humans, But both of these great men have fostered unstoppable and worldwide movements - once when a man lived, and once when a man died.

I have not seen, anywhere, that Charlie Kirk was wearing any type of ballistic outerwear.
And this info would be suppressed, for “security reasons”.
I request correction from a legitimate source (meaning those close to CK’s security).

You summarized my thinking beautifully. I wrote that life is sometimes insanely random, but that’s only the way it looks to mere humans. Thank you.
The only thing remotely capable of being worn that would create a ricochet or serious, mobile fragmentation of a full metal jacket 30-06 round is a plate carrier. Charlie is not wearing one when shot, he’s in a T-shirt.
