Here’s my basic rules of thumb.
If original image width is less that 600px do not use the width attribute.
If the original image can be reasonably communicated AT width=600, use it. 600px is optimal viewing for phone phags and desktop phags.
The max I will ever make an image is 810. Anything wider than that starts to get to side scroll on some accessible and low rez screens.
If the image cannot be communicated at 810, set width to 810 and link it to the larger original.
Bonus: if you have a long image with a short width I like to set a 420 so you can see the whole image without scroll.
I go way back on FR and these guidelines have served me well. There was a time when you had to be conscientious about file size and such.
Just to be clear, my comment was about the the theory that the bodyguard shot backwards with a pistol under his arm. Nothing to do with the aught-six.

Haha! I know I could do that and Bagster would smile down at me shaking his head and thinking “She didn’t learn a thing from me.” He was the one who coached me on photo posting in HTML.
I deliberately took the picture with the regulation car in the photo for context. I only wish I’d caught the car with the woman IN it for even better context, but I was on a call in my own car when she drove up. By the time I ended the call and jumped out of my car, she was inside the pharmacy.
People are very inventive. I love that about humans. I drive on highways in my tiny Miata and occasionally feel vulnerable. I can’t imagine feeling safe in a kiddle car on even small town roads.
