So, unconfirmed at this point.

My problem is that I usually skip shock/denial and go straight to anger. That evening, I was ready for CW2, but I’ve since settled a bit.

New research, published in JAMA Network Open, offers strong evidence that acupuncture – a drug-free option already widely available in private clinics and some NHS services – can help.
The study was led by Kaiser Permanente in Oregon and carried out across four major US health systems in California, Washington and New York, involving more than 50 licensed acupuncturists.
Patients in the trial were randomly assigned to three groups. One received ‘usual medical care’ – GP visits, painkillers and physiotherapy referrals, sometimes escalating to spinal injections or surgery.
Another group had a standard course of acupuncture: eight to 15 sessions spread across 12 weeks, on top of usual care. The third had the same course, followed by four to six ‘maintenance’ sessions over the next 12 weeks.
At the six-month mark – the main time point for the study – both acupuncture groups showed significantly greater improvements in back-pain disability scores than those on usual care alone.
On a 24-point scale used to measure how pain limits daily life, acupuncture patients were on average one to one-and-a-half points better off than those without it.
In their conclusion, the researchers wrote: ‘Acupuncture provided greater improvements in back pain-related dysfunction at a six-month and 12-month follow-up compared with usual medical care alone, with the advantage of a low-risk profile.’
They added: ‘Our resulting 1.0- to 1.5-point difference is clinically important, congruent with or larger than effects reported for other pain-related treatments, and shows more sustained benefit and substantially lower adverse effects than pharmacotherapy.’
No Pain: That overlays with earlier discussion here. No place has there been any mention of Charlie making any sound after the hit. Even a hit on a carotid would give a few minutes of consciousness.
I noted a couple things earlier about the possible ballistics involved. Assuming 30-06 and that the rifle was bore sighted with the scope, which seems likely, at 200 yards a 30-06 point of impact would be about 6 inches below the crosshair mark. If the shooter held the crosshair on the target’s nose then the impact would be in the center of the throat.
For this reason I tend to think Charlie was gone before he hit the ground. That’s the only blessing I see in the event.

The transgender ‘partner’ of Charlie Kirk’s alleged shooter shared a post online appearing to show support for President Joe Biden, the Daily Mail can reveal.
Lance Twiggs, a 22-year-old wannabe pro gamer, and roommate of main suspect Tyler Robinson, also 22, made the remark in a Reddit post.
Twiggs goes by the name ‘lancelotte’ on social media accounts including Instagram.
A Steam gaming account currently called ‘fluxalotl’ previously had the username ‘lancelotte’ as well as slight variation ‘lancelott3’, and is friends with a user named ‘Craftin247’ - an account linked to the shooter.
‘Lancelotte’ had their ‘real name’ listed on Steam as ‘Lance’ – until December 11 last year, when the gamer changed it to ‘Luna’.
An account on online forum Reddit with the username ‘lancelott3’ posted extensively in a group for transgender issues, and in one conversation on the site mentioned that they were from Utah.
A post from the same account was made to the ‘Love for Landlords’ subreddit - where users share trolling posts pretending to show support for landlords.
Lancelott3’s comment read: ‘We are riding with Biden on this glorious subreddit.’
A post from one year ago by the same user also discussed medications to ‘slow beard growth’ and ‘get good hip growth’.
Lancelott3 also told members of an ‘ex-Christian’ subreddit that he ‘was told I was possessed by a demon and then within 30 mins kicked outta the house because I started laughing and wouldn’t go to the bishop for a blessing’.
Twiggs’s family appear to be conservative Christians, based on their social media profiles. His sister follows Kirk’s widow Erika on Instagram.
The Daily Mail can also reveal that Robinson has been linked to a ‘furry’ website.
A username associated with the alleged assassin has an account on FurAffinity.net, a site catering to people with a proclivity for humanoid animal illustrations and dressing up in fur suits.
Many of the cartoon animal characters pictured on the site are in sexualized poses.
Robinson used the account name ‘craftin247’ on various videogaming and online accounts, his friends told the Daily Mail.
There is an account by that name on FurAffinity, registered on July 22, 2025, two months before Kirk’s fatal shooting on Wednesday at Utah Valley University.
The revelation comes after law enforcement found bullets inscribed with messages including ‘Notices bulge, OwO what’s this?’, a phrase associated with an internet meme often used by ‘furries’.
Other online accounts viewed by the Daily Mail explicitly link a person called ‘Tyler Robinson’ to the username ‘Craftin247’.
Tyler Robinson’ had the username ‘Craftin247’ on payments app Venmo, and was friends on the app with people the Daily Mail confirmed to be Robinson’s friends. A Snapchat account with the name ‘Tyler’ has the username ‘craftin247’.
Three friends told the Daily Mail Tyler was an avid gamer. An account on Steam, an online gaming platform, used the name ‘Craftin247’ with the ‘real name’ listed as ‘Tyler’, and a location in Utah.
The gamer also used ‘Donald Trump’ as a previous username.
The account’s user, which has a picture of Kermit the Frog for its profile, had played 2,148 hours of games on Steam with ‘ten years of service’ according to the gaming platform.
‘Craftin247’ left mixed reviews on various video games. In a review for pirate-themed adventure game Sea of Thieves, the gamer wrote: ‘If you play alone you will die alone.’

I stand to agree. On moral grounds, I can appreciate the defensive nature of it as well.
What is strange is that “multi-polar” sounds a little like permitting a union of nations, who are all sovereign, or are *for* sovereignty.
It is also, however, about defending against the impositions of the Unipolar USA... who leads the European West and NATO, and the world.
It also hinges on tossing off the power of the US and the Euro-West, who shackle other nations in its historic ability to injure them, or else to ring compliance out of them, with the use of SANCTIONS.
Backed by nations whose “sovereignty” is already at risk, or being threatened, they seem to find a purpose and relief in BRICS, I think,(?).
The US is fighting that premise as it is harmful to the petrol Dollar.
While the EU still holds TRILLIONS, in the Russian ruble, due to sanctions, these smaller nations see a current example of Unipolar behavior to reject.
The last I heard was months ago, a leaked report I suppose, because its been completely silent ever since, but the EU reportedly discussed using those trillions of Russian currency to fund the war in UKRAINE against Russia! Theft. They’re to broke to dare call it a loan.
