LIVE: ‘Ukraine War is Over’, Jeffrey Sachs ROCKS European Parliament With BLISTERING Ukraine Speech

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rms0gLdDT24

“So, the war started. What was Putin’s intention in the war? I can tell you what his intention was. It was to force Zalinski to negotiate neutrality and that happened within 7 days of the start of the invasion. You should understand this, not the propaganda that’s written about this. Oh, that they failed and he was going to take over Ukraine. Come on, ladies and gentlemen, understand something basic. The idea was to keep NATO, and what is NATO? It’s the United States, off of Russia’s border. No more, no less. I should add one very important point. Why are they so interested? first because if China or Russia decided to have a military base on the Rio Grand or in uh the Canadian border, not only would the United States freak out, we’d have war within about 10 minutes,...”

Re: the speech.... Note that Sachs specifically named Biden's Anthony Blinken and quoted him.

Blinken -- Joe Biden's "...secretary of state from 2021 to 2025. He previously served as deputy national security advisor from 2013 to 2015 and deputy secretary of state from 2015 to 2017 under President Barack Obama."

“The idea was to keep NATO, and what is NATO? It’s the United States, off of Russia’s border.”

For crying out loud, how dumb does anybody need to be to even swallow that?

Russia’s less than 50 miles from having a land border with the USA, courtesy of Alaska. And some Russians actually want Alaska back.

The idea Putin doesn’t want the USA too close to Russia’s border is beyond stupid. He couldn’t care less.

What bothers him is having EU NATO (backed by the USA) preventing Russian land expansion on one side, with the USA (backed by NATO) on the other side preventing Russian expansion into the Atlantic.

It must be so terrible, being an eleven time zone superstate feeling boxed in by so many minnow countries that remember the last time they spent a few decades forcibly locked against their will into Moscow’s “sphere of influence”.

That speech was from February this year, not last week.

Sachs has repeated Russian talking points with his own flair since the war began. He acts in bad faith.

No comment about posters who post six month old stories as if they are current.

“””””The idea was to keep NATO, and what is NATO? It’s the United States, off of Russia’s border.”””””

The invasion has doubled the NATO border on Russia, turned the Baltic Sea over to NATO, and isolated Kaliningrad and made it irrelevant.

Ha ha ha. The filthy chicoms already have bases in Mexico, Canada and even in the US. I’m glad to see the Trump walked back his plan to bring in 600,00 chicoms students/advanced army.
