Sachs has repeated Russian talking points with his own flair since the war began. He acts in bad faith.

3) As opinion and as a speech, not "stories," the issue is not "current" versus "old," anymore than the Gettysburg Address is not "current." It is its own thing. Sachs' views seem not to have changed, as best I can tell.

Whether one likes or dislikes the opinions expressed in that speech, verified by links, is a matter of one's geopolitical views. Conservatives disagree on various stances, as Mr. Robinson and the FR staff have observed in the past.
