He was okay in that, but no better than a dozen other leading men would have been. I am so glad he decided not to take the role of Billy Bigelow in Carousel. Sinatra's voice is fine, but he's a little squirt, barely taller than Shirley Jones, and his voice register is not deep enough for the part.
I am also SO GLAD he didn't get the Brando part in "The Godfather". The movie would have been a bad joke with him in it.
