Cs-137 is a product of nuclear fission and is used in medical devices and gauges, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention explains.

Right in the article.

Some places are not careful about how they dispose of their medical waste. There was a case in, I think Russia, where they had dump a machine and the radioactive powder was found and used for various things. Several people got quite ill.

Yes, thanks for reiterating that, but to be honest, I don’t trust much of what comes out of the CDC. If it is caused by medical waste, then it look’s like it’s just another consequence of the increased medical waste issue in Indonesia and elsewhere since the “pandemic” and wouldn’t be occurring otherwise.

They may have been in Brazil where medical equipment was removed and disassembled from an abandoned clinic.

People died.

Remember the Ciudad Juárez cobalt-60 contamination incident in 1983?

Let’s go with your idea - improper disposal of perhaps medical waste. It happened in Brazil when uneducated poor people stole the pretty blue powder (cesium 137) from an abandoned hospital, 4 dead, 249 +radiation exposure/varying sickness. Goiania Accident:

MORE shrimp recalled, 45,000 pounds, also Indonesia sourced, brand AQUA STAR (I buy their frozen salmon fillets all the time!) DM 8/29/25 new:

math math math The half-life of cesium137 is 30 years.
