Has restaurant chain Cracker Barrel gone woke? The signs point to that conclusion after the company announced its latest rebranding effort.
On Tuesday, USA Today reported, Cracker Barrel plans to shed its recognizable logo — which it’s had since 1977 — featuring a man sitting in a chair leaning on a barrel next to the restaurant’s name.

Cracker Barrel has lost 100 Million Dollars in valuation just today. I’m not sure that benefits its institutional shareholders all that much.

We’ve eaten there often over the years. So have family and friends. Nobody became sick or died. Well, Mom died. Probably because of CB food, and not because she was 99.

Definitely not with my $. I never was impressed with CFA, except their coffee slushy drink. Have only been a couple times. Never “got it” re In N Out, either, which was practically a cult when we lived in CA.

I used to go on fishing trips to Canada. We would often stop at International Falls for the night and cross the boarder the next morning when traffic was low. We would eat dinner at a firefighter themed restaurant called the Spot. They had all sorts of firefighter memorabilia in the restaurant and even an old pumper truck in a covered court yard. The last time we stopped in, it was under new ownership. The new owner sold almost all the memorabilia to finance the purchase. The food was never that great, but at least the restaurant had a nice atmosphere to it with all the memorabilia. The new owner sterilized the place..
