A Harvard researcher was brutally attacked by a gang of teenagers at a Boston movie theater after he told them to be quiet during a screening.
Thiago Rentz, 35, was seeing a late-night showing of the new horror film Weapons at the AMC Boston Common 19 last week when things got frightening off-screen.
A group of five teens in the theater loudly clapped and screamed throughout the screening, ruining the experience for everyone, Rentz said.

have they arrested the professor for disturbing the poor yutes yet?
The safe bet is that “Yeah, it’s them Boo Boo.”
I’m gonna guess that they were indeed urban youths, which would mean they are from a culture that practices loud audienceship—from film to theater to dance and music.
One poor dude going after them led to a not very surprising outcome.
That was a nice theater, though I haven’t been here in years.
I guess the other patrons wanted to hear the witty and sparkling dialog such movies are known for.
Just another reason to never patronize movie theatres anymore.
Harvard researcher apparently from Brazil.

‘I ask them for respect, I ask them to leave the theater, because we just wanted to watch the movie,’”
For a Harvard researcher, he certainly isnt too bright. Anyone with any sense of street smarts knows you shouldnt approach and interact with a bunch of rowdy, young black men.
He's proud that he didn't fight back. His "friend" ran away.

Oh well, it is too bad he is associated with Harvard. Otherwise, I might feel something but I can not.
The axiom applies. If a theater has more than a few young black men, ger a refund and go another time or stream your show
