Slavery has been around since humans started standing up on their hind legs.
Selling oneself into slavery to pay off one’s debts used to be a thing that happened a lot. Selling one’s children into slavery was an alternative to abortion.
I don’t know if this was addressed in “the truth about slavery” but the first slave owner on record in the USA was a black man. (He was a very mean slave owner, too.)
Slavery is still practiced in all parts of the world and in some places (like with our bosom buds the Qatari) it’s legal to trade in slaves.
It’s amazing that people spend time trying to pick apart the issue of slavery that existed a couple of hundred - or a few thousand - years in the past while basically IGNORING the slavery that goes on today.
Our former President Barak Obama and his celebrity/actor pals are very busy in the current international slave trade. That doesn’t get brought up as much.
And what are all those famous, rich folks on Epstein’s List?
Oprah, Ellen, Madonna, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Puffy, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, etc, etc, etc - THEY’RE SLAVE TRADERS. The slaves they are most interested in are the under-age-ten types that are highly disposable. “F**k em and chuck em,” right?
