Our first muslim president.
Criticisms leveled against the Obama administration and Attorney General Eric Holder regarding actions that some claim undermined America. These criticisms often come from those holding opposing political views——the basis of a democracy——two sides.
Regarding Barack Obama, some have argued the following:
Executive Overreach: Concerns were raised about Obama’s use of executive orders and memorandums, with critics arguing he exceeded his constitutional authority in some instances, according to Senator Chuck Grassley. This included actions on immigration, such as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, notes the Cato Institute.
Affordable Care Act (ACA): The ACA, while expanding health insurance coverage, also faced significant opposition and calls for its repeal, with opponents arguing it represented an overreach of government into healthcare.
“Fast and Furious” Operation: This operation involved allowing illegal weapons sales across the US-Mexico border, hoping to track them to drug cartels, according to The Heritage Foundation. The program lost track of thousands of guns, some later found at crime scenes, including where Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed.
Concerning Eric Holder as Attorney General, some criticisms included:
Operation Fast and Furious: Holder faced criticism and a contempt of Congress citation for refusing to turn over documents related to the Fast and Furious investigation.
Changes to Federal Law Enforcement: Holder’s modification of sentencing policies for low-level drug crimes, driven by a belief they were discriminatory, raised concerns among critics about weakening law enforcement, according to ABC News.
Enforcement of Federal Laws: Critics argued Holder selectively chose which federal laws to enforce or defend, citing his refusal to defend the Defense of Marriage Act as an example, according to The Heritage Foundation.
Black Muslim President.....
Obama tried to make the whole United States one big disfunctional, lawless Portland, Oregon.
I don’t know. The division goes back father. I think it started with Roe v Wade, and amped up in DC politics when Ted Kennedy delivered his “Borking of America” speech on the Senate floor. Bork was the first judge denied confirmation ONLY because of his views on one politically hot issue. It’s all been downhill since then.
