President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the two largest American banks previously rejected him as a customer, reviving claims that conservative clients were being unfairly denied accounts.
Trump told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” in a wide-ranging interview that JPMorgan Chase informed him he had 20 days to move “hundreds of millions of dollars in cash” to another bank. He didn’t say when this happened.
The president then said he approached Bank of America to “deposit a billion dollars-plus” and was told the bank couldn’t provide him an account, Trump said.
″[Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan] said, ‘We can’t do it,’” Trump said. “So I went to another one, another one, another one. I ended up going to small banks all over the place. I mean, I was putting $10 million here, $10 million there.”
While Trump mentioned his business, likely referring to his real estate and hospitality conglomerate, it wasn’t clear if this episode was in reference to personal or business accounts, or both.
Trump said that he believes that large banks rejected him and his supporters because regulators during the Biden administration applied pressure to the companies. “The banks discriminated against me very badly, and I was very good to the banks,” Trump said.

Just a bit crazy, but what would happen if Trump demanded CASH from the banks that are closing his accounts? Could the banks come up with the cash? What kind of hardship would it place on the banks?

I believe if you have an account and they debank you they send you a check for the full amount.
It wasn’t just President Trump. The AGs of 15 states sent a letter to BOA who was the biggest offender. They were debanking conservatives and Christian groups- there’s a thread on it here at FR.
When asked for comment the CEO of BOA said “we don’t discriminate on the basis of religion” but said nothing about politics.
My HSA plan through my employer is held by BOA. They had a conference call a year ago pimping their products. You were allowed to submit questions via chat.
I put together a great question using the article and letter sent by the AGs demanding a guarantee I would not have my HSA debanked. I submitted the question 3x- they refused to answer
In the end they did nothing though at that point I think they were feeling the heat and intimidated
The article below is a good synopsis of the various plots to go after Trump. They wanted him broke, in jail, and so ostracized that no bank would work with him, no attorney would represent him, and he certainly would never be president again. They almost succeeded and would have if not for the people...the voters.

Boy, oh boy. Everyday here on FR, I’m reminded of the magnitude the Democrat party has edged the US off the cliff into full-blown tyranny under BOTH Obama/Biden.
Yet, as a “supposed” Christian, I’m commanded by Jesus to love my enemies, but this is a challenging task for me. Obviously, my faith isn’t strong enough to love my enemies, just yet.

I tried to cash a Payroll check drawn on their bank and they said that it would COST ME $50.00 OR I NEEDED TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM !!! I went to the Liquor Store down the street and they cashed My paycheck and they only wanted a $1.50 or buy something from the store. I bought a bottle of Rum that I would have bought anyway.
One other time I was trying to Deposit some cash ($20.00) into My stepdaughter’s account and the boa idiots said that I was not allowed to because I wasn’t on the account !?!?!?
