I fail to see the humor. Receiver mounted scope on an SKS is gonna rattle. If he got it to hold zero with some tape, why wouldn’t he? I’ll bet it was up to the task out to 200 yards.

The way I understand it, the scope wasn’t even properly mounted to the receiver, just tapped on. I don’t it could hold any zero, although it could certainly kill at a closer range. IIRC, there were a few other weird things going on with that gun as well. I keep thinking he wanted to make a point that even with a junky weapon he could still kill. But the guy is nuts, so who knows?
