I wonder how many folks know that originally 'pop' and snack chips and such were not eligible for food stamps. As a matter of fact, I didn't know that they now are eligible until fairly recently... what a rip off of good working people.

Oh I would love to read that but it’s 79 pages. Maybe someone will summarize for us. I can barely spare enough time for a 10 minute video these days. My son is getting married in 2 weeks and he and his fiancé asked for only one wedding gift from me. They want a book of our family’s recipes that my son grew up enjoying. That sounded simple enough until I realized that most of the recipes are in my head and then I had to consider how they would be presented/bound. I think I found a suitable and attractive cover (wooden and handmade from Ukraine of all places), but it’s been a project of immense proportions that I’ve been working on steadily for months. I’m down to the proof-reading and ensuring uniformity of font, spacing, etc. I hope to print the pages this weekend. I’m happy that the family recipes have now been pried from my head and committed to paper, but I wish they’d just asked for money. Between this project and a family member diagnosed with early onset dementia, my golf game has been non-existent 😭
