A wardrobe malfunction caused some unexpected chaos during a WNBA matchup between the Washington Mystics and Phoenix Mercury on Sunday.
Late in the third quarter in Washington, the Mercury were on offense when All-Star Kahleah Copper tried to get open by maneuvering around a screen set by her teammate. Copper quickly scooped up her locks and ran towards the locker room, and a time out was called on the floor.
Commentator Mehgan McPeak reacted to the incident by repeating two words. “Oh no,” McPeak reacted, “Oh no, Oh no, she’s going to head to the back. Oh no.” Mercury teammates then picked up on a fan mocking Copper about the situation. It led to the team asking the officials to notify arena security to have the fan ejected.

I’ve been watching the replays of the incident on YouTube and it’s interesting that the only official video out there is very dark and you cannot really see what happened. People have taken it and enhanced it and lightened it... it looks like Copper has male pattern baldness. The whole top of her(?) head is shiny bald with fuzz on the sides, like George Jefferson. All the commenters were posting “It’s Juwanna Mann!” I didn’t know what that was and had to look it up. Welp, it could be... I mean, Brittany Griner is obviously a dude, so Phoenix may have more than one.
WNBA is a comedy show period.

You won't hear this from sports media. I don't have the numbers but I can guess that most of the WNBA players are not heterosexual.

I once held the opinion that the WNBA did really not deserve to exist, because the teams and league all operated at a loss. I have changed my opinion because they provide such fine comedy value on a regular basis. I would never have believed that a league in a sport I do not watch, playing games I will never see, by players I have no interest in, could be so fascinatingly stupid and childish that I actually look forward to the next totally absurd outburst or occurrence. It is hard to admit this is entertaining.
