Fans will be given a chance to pay their respects to heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne when his cortege travels through his home city of Birmingham.
The Black Sabbath singer's body will be brought back for a procession that will travel along Broad Street in the city centre from 13:00 BST on Wednesday.
The news was revealed by BBC WM presenter Ed James who said a hearse will make its way to the Black Sabbath Bridge and bench where thousands of fans have left messages and floral tributes.
The Lord Mayor of Birmingham Zafar Iqbal said: "We're going to pay our last respects and homage to one of the greatest living legends of Birmingham." Osbourne died aged 76 on 22 July.
Flowers and notes fill the majority of the image, with some reaching the top of tall black railings. Five people are by the tributes. Buildings are in the background at the top of the photo. Thousands of fans have visited the Black Sabbath bench in Birmingham (pictured on Tuesday) His death came less than three weeks since he took part, along with his band mates, in Black Sabbath's farewell gig, Back to the Beginning. Dozens of musicians, including members of Metallica and Aerosmith, performed at the Villa Park concert.
The event, which takes place ahead of a private funeral, will allow his family a chance to see the many memories his loyal fans have left alongside flowers and tributes, the council said.
Local musicians Bostin' Brass will accompany the procession.

Sharon Osbourne breaks down in tears at Ozzy's funeral as Kelly holds her up
Quite the sizeable crowd who showed up to pay their respects.
Say what you want about Ozzy, he went out like a champion. Held it together as best he could to give his hometown fans one final show with his old bandmates and then departed this earth.
Birmingham, a Muslim/Hindu majority city.
It’s not Ozzy’s Birmingham anymore, nor Jeff Lynne’s for that matter.
The Jazz Band New Orleans Style was a nice touch...........
Looking on, I did’nt expect all the Pomp and Pageantry around Ozzy’s funeral. I’ve never been much into his music or public persona, but apparently many others were.
One also has to remember that even though England has had a gigantic influence on popular music, going back to the ‘50’s, geographically, England is not all that big of a nation, compared to the USA.
So, what we often see (even now, after all the unwanted immigration) is a small country, a cluster of villages, now celebrating one of it’s Sons.
When viewed that way, it makes sense that the country would do it all up to collectively say Goodbye.
First thing in my head was “ Krull” and the guy saying “Only the Lotd Marshal has those keys!”
Rats.
Now I wanna watch that movie again.
This was to happen five hours ago.
They are eight hours ahead of us in England..............
Ozzy Osborne! A vulgar, alcohol-addicted, drug-addicted ass. Why do supposedly ‘intelligent’ people almost worship him?
I simply do not get it.
I believe The United States is 40 times larger in size than England.
Yes. At least 14 x >
5 hours ahead of EST. Its now 6:45pm in London.
I think some folks admire/support/worship such vagabonds as Ozzy, because he represents their Alter Ego.
Ozzy says what they can’t say. Does what they can’t do.
Lived a hedonist, proudly debauched life (on camera!) in a way they would never do in a thousand years!
So, one could say, he is their Anti-Hero, who thumbed his nose at convention and mostly got away with it, all the while getting rich enough to spend his days getting soused in a mansion with Maids and Butlers.
8 hours ahead if one lived in the Pacific time zone
Ozzy was closer to God than most of those sharing your sentiments.
14 = 40 x greater than the US.
