Morris faces a contentious battle among Republican candidates. He will have to beat out Representative Andy Barr and former Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who oversaw the prosecution of the controversial Breonna Taylor case. President Trump has yet to endorse a candidate, although Morris is actively seeking the President's support.

Never heard of him. Is Kentucky red enough to where the republicans can carry him to the finish line? Big names start out best but it didn't work in purple Pennsylvania with Oz. Then there's the rookie mistakes that trashed others. Cameron-proven loser.

I wish Clarence Thomas would retire now-they’re in recess. It’s a good time for Cameron being so young and experienced as a politician-wouldn’t have to worry about him ‘evolving’ while on the bench. Let him take the arrows and expose the left again.

Probably. Trump carried Kentucky about 63-37 every time he has run. On the other hand, Kentucky has a bad habit of electing Democrat governors including the current governor, Andy Beshear, who has dreams of being president. A bigger question to me is if Beshear actually gets the nomination, would he carry Kentucky? My guess is yes though I won't vote for him. I think we only have 8 Electoral College votes and so the bigger question is whether he would also carry bordering states like Ohio and Tennessee. My guess is no.

I keep seeing ads calling Nate Morris "fake Nate" and claims he supported DEI woke and even pervert issues. Other than that one commercial, I've never heard of him either.

In Ohio Beshear would win the blue cities of Columbus and Cincinnati, but he is unknown in the rest of the state. So, no.

It’s a slow process. Deep red Nebraska gave us Chuck Hagel. Ohio gave us DeWine and Portman. Utah gave us Bob Bennett. All were replaced with stronger conservatives. We ‘gambled’ by replacing Lugar in Indiana with Mourdock-stupid is as stupid does but we got it back after one term.

Mckormick and Tim Sheehy were good candidates with limited experience who won-no mistakes along the way. Can we count on this guy to be smart?
