INDIONAPOLIS, Ind. (WEHT) — Bubba Wallace has become the first black driver to win the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Brickyard 400.
Nassar’s official website says Wallace became the second Black driver to win in the Cup Series with his victory in 2021 at Talladega Superspeedway. Wallace also has six total Craftsman Truck Series wins.

I used to follow Nascar regularly but have moved to Formula 1 and occasionally NHRA.
I watched a bit yesterday. Most of the grandstands were closed and the stands down the main straightaway looked less than full. I noticed the cameras were making it hard to get a good look at the stands.
Has Nascar lost its mojo? I got bored of it because too many cars and too many crashes - causing races to go on forever. Poll position doesn’t seem to mean anything (unlike F1 where it means everything).
Jumped the shark?
They went full on woke and blm- Started berating their fans over issues like 2n’d amendment- and of course Bubba did the whole hoax noose thing then berated his fans because they called him out on it- Dale Jr and ilk all got behind Bubba and promoted him like crazy- basically shoving him in our faces for not believing his lie about a garage door pull rope-

You’re mistaken on your history. Dale struggled to win Daytona. He won the 2nd ever Brickyard 400, after Jeff Gordon on the 1st.

Yep- admitted already i made a mistook- i was thinking daytona but it wasn’t- it was early, my brain wasnt awakwe
didn’t the other racers also push him across the line ‘for the historic win’? or was that another race?
Bubba Smollett wins brickyard- the most coveted of races- Dale Earnhardt tried for years to win- I guess Bubba is better driver than Dale.

I think you’re mistaking Indy for Daytona? Earnhardt won the second NASCAR race at Indy. It took him 20 years to win the Daytona 500.

I dont usually mess up, but when i do... it’s a Lu Lu lol
He was, and I’ve never liked him since. But he won that thing fair and square, made his fuel last and beat Kyle Larson on a restart which is not an easy thing to do.
