New disclosures from a Tulsi Gabbard-led working group point directly to the top, as the legacy of "Hope and Change" begins a plunge to the ocean floor

Barack Obama entered national politics with a smile that looked like Hope and Change. Amid rumors of family discord and disarray within the political party he once led, his face has hardened. He lately looks bitter, resentful, exhausted by the act.

In the wake of reports released by fellow Hawaiian and former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard, he also has a new problem. It once seemed a lock that Obama would be remembered as the winsome hero of Shepard Fairey’s portrait, but Gabbard’s documents place him at the center of an unprecedented act of political sabotage, committed in his last Oval Office days as a humiliated lame-duck in the winter of 2016-2017. The new Director of National Intelligence is targeting Obama’s legacy and maybe even his freedom, detailing a “treasonous conspiracy committed by officials at the highest level of our government,” announcing that everyone involved “must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Ten days ago, news broke that Donald Trump’s Justice Department opened criminal investigations into two of Obama’s top deputies, former FBI chief James Comey and former CIA head John Brennan. Last Sunday, Gabbard’s ODNI hosted an “urgent” meeting to discuss “new information on Russiagate” with members of the Justice Department and the President’s Intelligence Advisory Board.

All week, Washington buzzed with rumors about imminent document releases, but what came out wasn’t what many expected. Gabbard’s documents show the Obama White House overruling months of reports downplaying Russian interference and ordering subordinates to set a time bomb of manipulated intelligence, with the aim of trying to, as Gabbard described it, “usurp” an incoming president. No longer a tertiary character, Obama is now “center square” in the Russiagate scam, as one source put it.

Mainstream press outlets like the New York Times and Politico have already run pieces quoting Democratic Party mouthpieces shrugging off Gabbard’s reports as “baseless” and an attempt to “change the subject,” but coverage may not matter, as the investigation into the Trump-Russia hoax is no longer about trying to change hearts and minds. Multiple sources say Gabbard’s team is focused on “accountability” by gathering evidence for court-ready cases. The matter may soon need a special prosecutor, putting Obama in the same position Trump occupied in the first two years of his presidency, on the run from a high-profile fox hunt.

EXCLUSIVE: The Obama administration “manufactured and politicized intelligence” to create the narrative that Russia was attempting to influence the 2016 presidential election, despite information from the intelligence community stating otherwise, Fox News Digital has learned.

On Friday, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified documents revealing “overwhelming evidence” that demonstrates how, after President Donald Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, then-President Barack Obama and his national security team laid the groundwork for what would be the years-long Trump–Russia collusion probe.

One instance was on Dec. 7, 2016, weeks after the election. Then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper’s talking points stated: “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. presidential election outcome.”

Fox News Digital obtained a declassified copy of the Presidential Daily Brief, which was prepared by the Department of Homeland Security, with reporting from the CIA, Defense Intelligence Agency, FBI, National Security Agency, Department of Homeland Security, State Department and open sources, for Obama, dated Dec. 8, 2016.

“We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure,” the Presidential Daily Brief stated. “Russian Government-affiliated actors most likely compromised an Illinois voter registration database and unsuccessfully attempted the same in other states.”

But the brief stated that it was “highly unlikely” the effort “would have resulted in altering any state’s official vote result.”

“Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes,” it stated. The brief noted that the Office of the Director of National Intelligence assessed that any Russian activities “probably were intended to cause psychological effects, such as undermining the credibility of the election process and candidates.”

The brief stated that cyber criminals “tried to steal data and to interrupt election processes by targeting election infrastructure, but these actions did not achieve a notable disruptive effect.” Fox News Digital obtained declassified, but redacted, communications from the FBI on the Presidential Daily Brief, stating that it “should not go forward until the FBI” had shared its “concerns.” Those communications revealed that the FBI drafted a “dissent” to the original Presidential Daily Brief.

The communications revealed that the brief was expected to be published Dec. 9, 2016, the following day, but later communications revealed that Office of the Director of National Intelligence, “based on some new guidance” decided to “push back publication” of the Presidential Daily Brief.

“It will not run tomorrow and is not likely to run until next week,” wrote the deputy director of the Presidential Daily Brief at Office of the Director of National Intelligence, whose name is redacted. The following day, Dec. 9, 2016, a meeting convened in the White House Situation Room, with the subject line starting: “Summary of Conclusions for PC Meeting on a Sensitive Topic (REDACTED.)”

The declassified meeting record, obtained by Fox News Digital, revealed that principals “agreed to recommend sanctioning of certain members of the Russian military intelligence and foreign intelligence chains of command responsible for cyber operations as a response to cyber activity that attempted to influence or interfere with U.S. elections, if such activity meets the requirements” from an executive order that demanded the blocking of property belonging to people engaged in cyber activities.

After the meeting, according to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Clapper’s executive assistant emailed intelligence community leaders tasking them to create a new intelligence community assessment “per the president’s request,” that detailed the “tools Moscow used and actions it took to influence the 2016 election.”

“ODNI will lead this effort with participation from CIA, FBI, NSA, and DHS,” the record states.

Later, Obama officials “leaked false statements to media outlets” claiming that “Russia has attempted through cyber means to interfere in, if not actively influence, the outcome of an election.”

We know that Biden is bought by China.

We are pretty sure they released the coronavirus from a lab in China after it was illegally funded by Fauci, and we know that China also created massive amounts of filled-in ballots for the 2020 election - and the FBI buried the intel on that, refused to investigate, and lied about the whole thing to Congress (IIRC). Those things indicate that China may well have conspired with belligerent civilians in the executive branch to install Joe Biden, whom the Chinese Communist Party (in control of the Chinese military) had already bought through massive bribes. The subversion of the US government through bribes was present in Clinton’s Presidencies and also involved SOS Hillary Clinton during Obama’s Presidencies.

We know that Hillary gave China classified information about spies and the US military in real time by giving them the passwords for her email accounts. So the Presidency and executive branches have basically been under effective Chinese control for a long time, involving many of the players common to Clinton, Obama, and Biden presidencies.

We know that Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Biden, promised China that he would warn them if Trump planned to attack. Milley also seized control of the military from President Trump on Jan 6, 2021. So the military head of the military usurped the authority of the Commander-in-Chief and promised to serve China’s interests above that of his own Commander-in-Chief.

In Feb of 2020 Mike Pompeo warned governors that the Chinese Communist Party had lists describing each governor’s friendliness to overtures by the CCP, and warned that the CCP “(is) working you, know that it’s working the team around you”. The judicial branch is full of judges put in place by Clinton, Obama, and Biden, who all had shady ties to China. So that’s the judiciary.

The coup against legitimate governance goes back to at least 2007 where the people Obama then put on his cabinet perpetrated many crimes to install the ineligible puppet Obama and keep him in the White House. They also experimented with the FL voter registration database in 2012 which laid the foundation for them to devise the means to steal the 2020 election, and particularly using the Chinese bioweapon as an excuse for 10 million never-before-nor-since-seen votes, utilizing mail-in ballots (in some cases going against laws set by the state legislatures which MUST be followed for the chosen Presidential electors to qualify as electoral votes according to the Constitution) with no signature verification, the lists of which registered voters never vote, and pre-filled ballots supplied by China and transported across state lines to wherever the need was - while law enforcement (Bill Barr?) refused to investigate first-hand witness accounts of the same.

Basically, this nation has been taken over by China via a vast at least 18-year conspiracy between civilian belligerents within government, media, education, finances, etc and China. There are many individual “scandals” (seditious conspiracy) but when the dots are all put together they form a clear picture of blatant sabotage of the US government by China and co-conspirators within the US.

then there’s going to be a federal grand jury to investigate the Obama administration’s senior Department of Justice officials and the senior members of the FBI.
Anybody with any sense has to see where this ends up.
We either have a rogue cabinet, in it's entirety (of which Justice is the second to be outed after Treasury/IRS), that is acting unconstitutionally without the knowledge of the President -- making Obama an incompetent stooge or useful idiot for others; or we have a top-down directive, straight from the Oval Office, to use the tools of government to crush the opposition and secure power for generations.
Let's not kid ourselves, the Obama Spying Scandal is the biggest scandal in the history of the USA. The weaponizing of the IC, FBI, Justice Department came from Obama. I suspect Clapper and Brennan are major players working with Obama. They had the HAMMER computer system. It's my guess it started on day one of his administration.

This sort of corruption is the result of many decades of cover-ups and looking the other way, all for the “greater good” (of the FBI).
I would add... based on the convenient, but unproven, excuse that the cover-ups were necessary to protect people's confidence in government and avoid riots in "the street" should popular figures be seen as being taken out.
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, so to speak, to justify their own corruption for the greater good of stability in government. However, those on the short-end of that stability have had enough.
Still, the point is that the top could have intervened to stop it, if: 1) the top were in the loop, and 2) the top was appalled by the rogue behavior.
So, to assume that the top did not approve and to still protect the top, one has to assume that the top was duped, was lied to, was incompetent as a manager to not know what direct reports were doing in such visible roles.
Therefore, the only choices to judge Obama are that he either was in the know and supported it, or he was played the fool and sat over a rogue destructive administration.
Neither are legacies that Obama wants.

When someone "who spent part if his youth in a Madrasa and spent his early adulthood with domestic terrorist" takes over the White House, this is what he does as a natural inclination, and he finds others with a similar inclination to fill out his administration.

I believe it started in the Clinton administration with three specific events and some ancillary incidents:
Mass firing all 93 US Attorneys in one day and replacing them with Clinton appointees. Previous Presidents fired selected US Attorneys over a period of time.
The "Gorelick Wall." Jamie Gorelick, then the Deputy Attorney General under Janet Reno, established a policy forbidding the sharing of intelligence between the CIA, FBI, and NSA. In hindsight, the belief is that she was protecting Bill Clinton's campaign fundraising abuses, but the unintended consequence is that the intelligence agencies missed the evidence of the 9/11 plot.
TWA 800. Occurring in July 1996 (in the heart of the Clinton reelection campaign), the FBI was actively investigating a missile strike theory. Several days into the investigation the CIA took over investigation, discarded hundreds of eye-witness accounts, and create an implausible "zoom climb" video to explain a center fuel tank explosion.
700 FBI files. Disavowed White House aide Craig Livingstone acquired confidential FBI files on most "players" in Washington, which the Clinton's allegedly used as "leverage" in policy negotiations.
Related attempts to coordinate the mining of raw intelligence, such as "Able Danger," were shut down by Gorelick's wall. There were claims that Able Danger discovered the Mohamed Atta terrorist cell a year before the 9/11 attack, but key government officials changed their stories during the 9/11 Commission study.
"Open" FBI Investigations. Attorney General Janet Reno never closed any FBI investigations. By keeping them open, this allowed her to decline to comment on "ongoing investigations," of which there were many in the Clinton administration. This was an early politicization of the FBI as a tool to protect the incumbent administration.
Late in the Clinton administration, an eavesdropping system named "Echelon" was changed from military/diplomatic espionage by a new FBI system called "Carnivore" to sniff general international TCP/IP communications channels. Not limited to known suspected targets, this system monitored all traffic for specic keywords whether or not an American citizen was involved in the communication.
The Clintons learned by experience that, no matter how egregious the crime or lie, repeated denial is all it takes in Washington to skirt the consequences (Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones excepting, although Clinton's penalties were minor).
Fast forward to 2000 and the Bush-Gore election. Here, we see parallels with the Trump-Clinton election:
In both cases, the Democrat was expected to win, but narrowly lost.
In both cases, the Democrats refused to accept the results and created a national crisis.
In both cases, Democrats in the Senate slow-walked the confirmation of incoming Cabinet nominations.
In both cases, the crimes of the prior administration were expected to be covered up by the incoming administration, but were now open to exposure.
The 2000 election is probably the flash point for when we see the radicalization of the MSM. The Clinton administration held up Presidential transition funds while Gore's challenge worked its way through the Florida courts. The MSM echoed the "selected, not elected" meme despite their own post-election reviews of Florida ballots showing that, no matter how many different ways they counted the votes, Bush still won Florida. The MSM never mentioned that if Gore had only won his or Clinton's home states, Florida would have been moot. The MSM ridiculed anyone who repeated the news that the outgoing Clinton staff trashed the White House when they left. The MSM said that Bush was a "dry drunk." The MSM said that Bush was dumb. The MSM resented that Bush went to bed early, rose early, and vacationed in Crawford, TX.
Eight months into Bush's first term, 9/11 happened. Bush emerged as a popular wartime leader (remember his speech at the rubble with the bullhorn?), and Democrats were now forced to fast-track the confirmations of Bush's remaining Cabinet nominees. When the United States ultimately invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, the MSM grudgingly went along as "embedded journalists," to provide "context" to the "narrative" that would follow. Our intelligence agencies were deeply focused on wartime surveillance and ultimately the hunt for Saddam Hussein, and likely didn't have the bandwidth to focus on internal domestic spying on political opponents yet (Watergate still resonated).
Two interesting incidents resulted from the Iraq War:
Blaming the intelligence agencies for not finding WMD in Iraq, saying that they misinterpreted the data. Democrats alleged that Bush ordered the falsification of intelligence in order to manipulate Democrats into voting for the war effort (Ted Kennedy: "Week after week after week he told lie after lie after lie..."). The "intelligence community," while existing as a formal body since 1981, was now coined as an opposition force.
The outing of Valeria Plame as a CIA agent. Although Plame was known in Washington DC as a CIA analyst, Democrats ginned up a huge scandal to attack the Bush administration, but ended up only jailing Vice-President Dick Cheney's Chief-of-Staff Scooter Libby, despite knowing that Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage was the leaker. This was also said to turn the "intelligence community" against Republicans.
Fast forward to the Bush-Kerry election of 2004. The MSM, in the form of Dan Rather, used forged military documents to accuse President Bush of avoiding deployment to Vietnam. The MSM mocked former John Kerry Swift-Boat crew members who spoke against Kerry's character as an officer in Vietnam. The MSM coined the word "swift-boating" to mean attacking a Democrat with false accusations. Note that Bush was not "swift-boated by Rather, but instead, the MSM claimed that the supporting documents were "fake but accurate." The MSM showed their willingness to take the side of Democrats to cover up anything harmful to their side.
Fast forward to the 2008 election between McCain-Obama. The MSM imputes all sorts of optimism onto Barack Obama, while simultaneously attacking Sarah Palin as an uneducated hick from Alaska. Once Obama takes office, the MSM either downplays, covers up, or supports the following:
The nomination of Eric Holder for Attorney General, who was responsible for the pardoning of tax dodging Marc Rich on Bill Clinton's last day in office.
The nomination of Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State. The mindset of the purloining of FBI documents is now back in the White House.
Eric Holder's involvement in "Fast and Furious," the running of automated weapons by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearm (BATF) to drug cartels in Mexico, to leverage the resulting carnage to drive gun control in the United States. The BATF becomes politicized.
The Obama Stimulus of 2009, that was supposed to be for "shovel-ready" jobs, but instead was a transfer of wealth to Obama donors. The Treasury becomes politicized.
Solar panel company Solyndra receives a $500 million loan from the Department of Energy, bypassing normal approval processes. Within two years, Solyndra declares bankruptcy. Energy becomes politicized.
The Pigford Scandal, which abused a Department of Agriculture settlement for unfair practices towards 22 African-American farmers, and turned it into a wealth-transfer scheme for many Democrat minority constituencies. Agriculture becomes politicized.
The Space Shuttle program is ended, and NASA is repurposed to focus on climate change and Muslim outreach. NASA is accused of manipulating NOAA weather data to support global warming conclusions. NASA and NOAA become politicized.
ObamaCare is passed by Democrat-only votes in Congress to nationalize the American health care/insurance system. We learn later from ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber that the case for ObamaCare was based on lies in order to get support from "the stupidity of the American people." Health and Human Services becomes politicized.
Using the IRS to deny tax-exempt status to conservative political action groups in advance of the 2012 election. This was in reaction to sweeping Democrat "wave" losses in the 2010 mid-term election. The IRS becomes politicized.
Hillary Clinton and her involvement with the Benghazi embassy attack and aftermath, which resulted in the first killing of an ambassador in 31 years. Lying about the lack of security in Libya and the nature of the attackers, State and Defense become politicized to protect Obama's 2012 reelection.
The Department of Justice admits to spying on journalists. The Associated Press reports that its reporters' cell phones, office phones, and home phones were surveilled. Fox News reported that James Rosen's phones were tapped, as well as the phones of his parents. CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson claims that her computers were infected with spyware. Justice becomes politicized.
Hillary Clinton's secret server. Clinton uses an unsecured personal server to conduct State Department business using an alias identity in order to bypass federal government record keeping. It is alleged that Clinton is running a "pay to play" operation where "donations" to the Clinton Foundation result in favorable treatment by State. When this is publicly discovered, the FBI covers up the evidence and issues a statement declaring no charges. The FBI becomes politicized.
Systematic NSA spying on Americans, as revealed by Eric Snowden. The NSA claims that the data is captured and stored, but not seen or acted upon until there is a court order or warrant. It will be years later before we learn about "unasking" abuses. The NSA becomes politicized.
There is more, but you can see how the Obama administration slowly, systematically, politicized each federal department to serve liberal Democrat interests. The counter-intelligence agencies became normalized to work for the attainment of the liberal agenda above all else. The extent of the abuses was not known outside the halls of the various departments, and it was expected to remain unspoken after Hillary Clinton took over. The MSM was not interested in harming fellow liberals, and either looked the other way or actively participated in coordinating the cover-up (remember JournoList?).
These agencies are now being weaponized against Donald Trump in a last-ditch effort at self-survival.

February 7, 2018: New FBI Texts Reveal Obama Asked for Updates on Clinton Investigation After Guaranteeing He’s Staying Out of Hillary Email Server Probe>

The date of the text was before the election, so there shouldn't have been a Russia collusion investigation yet; that was concocted only after Trump won the election two months later.
If I were to guess, I'd think Obama wanted an update on the Trump campaign surveillance.
I don't think it was a collusion investigation at the time, I think it was a planned spying on the operations of the Trump campaign via purposeful unmasking of anticipated incidental surveillance of known Russians.
Obama only called it collusion after Trump won the election in order to manufacture a crime to justify the spying in anticipation of being discovered by the incoming administration.
All the evidence at the time suggests that Putin would have preferred Clinton because she was already giving Russia whatever they want, so investigating Russian collusion to aid Trump would not have made sense.

Apparently so, since Obama's team admitted to lying to the American people about Obamacare in order to get it passed.
Comey was willing to lie about the crimes of Hillary Clinton in order to get her elected, and then lie about no crimes committed by Trump in order to get him thrown out.
