Horse hockey. Your mistake is assumption that all of Trump's supporters were addressed by his post. They weren't. Only those fair weather "patriots" who have sided with the socialists and deep staters to focus on "the list" instead of the immense successes the administration has accomplished in not even six months.

If all it takes is this to cause "supporters" to not "support" this administration then I will boldly say they were never a supporter of restoring the Republic in the first place, but rather, agents of those who would see it collapse.

I made no such assumption and I stand by what I wrote. It is all a question of turnout.

The Republicans already have two disadvantages going into 2026:

First, Trump's name will not be on the ballot. A lot of low propensity voters showed up in 2016, 2020, and 2024 just to cast their vote for him.

Second, in normal off year elections the party in power tends to loose seats.

Trump won the critical swing states by single digits. Shave 5 to 8 points off the Republican turnout and the Republicans are road kill.

Yelling at your most ardent supporters to shut up and move on is the most tone deaf political "own goal" I have ever seen.
