NATO jets were scrambled overnight as Russia carried out its largest drone attack yet on Ukraine, launching more than 700 drones, officials said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the "new massive Russian attack on our cities" involved "728 drones of various types, including over 300 Shaheds, and 13 missiles – Kinzhals and Iskanders.
"Most of the targets were shot down. Our interceptor drones were used -- dozens of enemy targets were downed, and we are scaling up this technology. Mobile fire groups were also active – they downed dozens as well. I thank all our warriors for their precision," he added.
Ukraine’s Air Force said the assault mainly targeted the northwestern city of Lutsk and according to preliminary data, "air defenses neutralized 718 enemy air attack vehicles, 303 were shot down by fire, 415 were lost in location."

Russia launched the record number of drones in the entire WAR for one day. 728 and Ukraine shot down or disrupted (by E.W.) 718 of them? That’s a 99 PERCENT success rate!
GROK says that by averaging all drone types an overall success rate of 70% is possible which means hundreds got through not TEN..count them - - - - - - - - - -😂
No doubt shot down by the made-up ‘Ghost of Kyiv’. That fake news warrior had an amazing success rate. Eventually the Ukrainian military admitted they created the Ghost of Kyiv for morale purposes, which I think meant propaganda-but-we-got-caught. Yes, propaganda on all sides of the war, but the Ukraine ‘s often seems so silly. And really with a success rate like that why should we give them air defenses when they claim they do great without them?

The anwer to your question as to why they release this info on a devastating drone attack and then go with the chest thumping about how they repelled almost all of it is this.

So are you claiming no jets scrambled or are you complaining that Jets were scrambled. I’m going to assume that the United States and the NATO alliance take all kinds of defensive preparations when hundreds of drones and other attacks are taking place nearby.
