Thank you very much and God bless you.
And hence why the director was screaming anti-MAGA stuff.
He’s trying to blame his flop of a movie on MAGA backlash.
He’s also likely trying to sell the movie to leftists...
Good luck with that, Hollyweird.
superdog...
Yeah, no.
Critical Drinker really skewered this stinker. (NSFW)

Because sometimes a movie is so very bad that it becomes a cult classic.
Example:
Krypto the Super Dog had a big part in the trailer. When I saw that, I was hopeful that the writer/director would go back to the comic book roots.
It was a disaster when Warner bought DC. While Marvel movies made movie versions of the comic books, DC movies makes Warner Brothers versions of Warner Brothers movies featuring DC characters. This goes all the way back to 1978, I am afraid. They NEVER got Superman right.
You can do brooding, OCD Batman, who will never get over his parents’ death, and is driven, but rarely joyful. While Superman (with the exception of a few short interruptions) was always upbeat. Yeah, his planet was destroyed, but the Kents were great parents, he likes his work environment, and he has Superpowers, so he can make a Fortress of Solitude with his bare hands out a solid Arctic wall. He LIKES being Superman most of the time.
Think Ewoks.
As Mel Brooks’ Yoghurt put it...
“Merchandising, merchandising! Where the real money from the movie is made,”
Yeah.
Good luck with that, too, Hollyweird.
Why do they keep remaking these kind of movies? They already have been made, without the Leftist twist. Can’t get any better then that.
This is all just a setup to blame MAGA when it flops like they already know it will.
“Audience fatigue” is bull***. It’s just another way to blame the audience for lousy filmmaking. The real situation is that there is a social agenda being pushed by Soros and other interests. This is why millions of dollars are still being thrown at these failing woke projects. They have lost so much money producing these propaganda projects yet the money keeps being thrown at them. There is another agenda here and the perps are willing to lose billions pushing it. By now even the thickest studio exec has to realize that woke=broke.
Supehombre
My understanding is it brings us back to a focus on Superman wanting to do good - which is a major jump back in style to the original Reeves movie.
A lot of the pooh-poohers are unhappy about that as the focus I guess.
I’ll eventually see it, unsure if I’ll do it in theaters - we’ll see.

Superman "superficial"? "Silly"?
Folks who look longingly at the Christopher Reeves movies forget just how corny and borderline gay they made the Clark Kent character. They’d never get away with that today.
I was born in 1960 and grew up on the original George Reeves Superman......as hokey as it may seem now, as far as I’m concerned, Superman has gone down hill since.
So yeah, no.
One exception?
Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman with Dean Cain playing as Superman.
