The Wall Street Journal Welcomes Kash Patel and Dan Bongino to the ‘Rotten Establishment ‘Amid MAGA’s Epstein Civil War

The Wall Street Journal welcomed FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino to the “rotten establishment” in a new editorial about the ongoing MAGA civil war over the Trump administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

On Sunday night, a Department of Justice and FBI memo concluding that Epstein did, in fact, commit suicide and there was “no incriminating ‘client list'” or “credible evidence … that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals” was reported on by Axios to the dismay of many of President Donald Trump’s biggest fans.

“I’m going to go throw up actually. And this only happens every few years when something really, really bad happens or something,” said conspiracy theorist Alex Jones in a reaction video to the memo on Monday. “I mean, I’m physically gonna puke, probably right now.”

“How come Blondi [Attorney General Pam Bondi] didn’t sign her name to her own memo about the Epstein Files? She needs to resign. This is going to suppress the vote in 2026,” wrote Laura Loomer on X. “The American people and MAGA base will not tolerate being lied to. I hope President Trump fires Pam Blondi if she lacks the SHAME to resign. I called for her resignation the day of Binder Gate. 5 months later and Blondi is still an abomination. Epstein raped kids on her watch when she was FL AG. Is this what this is about? Her horrendous professional record?”

The Journal kicked off its editorial on the subject by observing that “These are boom times for conspiracy theorists, and one problem is they’re never satisfied.”

“There’s always another coverup to unravel, or another hidden file somewhere that the evil establishment is hiding. That’s what Trump Justice Department officials are learning to their dismay now that they’re trying to close the books on the prosecution and death of Jeffrey Epstein,” it continued.

After summarizing the DOJ memo, the influential center-right newspaper concluded that “There’s a lesson here for partisans who think they can ride conspiracies to power. They can easily boomerang on you once you’re in a position to see the real evidence and then have to convince a public that doesn’t trust anyone in power. Welcome to the rotten establishment, Mr. Patel and Mr. Bongino.”

The administration does not want to throw the baby out with the bathwater

It needs the votes of the Republicans on the list and chief Justice, John Roberts cooperation

Otherwise, the administration is toast

Why would there be an actual “client list”?

There is more here than the public knows.
I feel like there is a parsing of words:

“There was no client list”: Means he didn’t have a ‘list’ of people he was doing business with, but he had lists of people who he was ‘contacting’ but that is different.

“We have no credible proof of blackmail” Means that they don’t have hard, irrefutable evidence, that he was blackmailing people. There is tons of soft evidence, but you need hard evidence and people willing to ‘admit’ and/or complain with a money trail.

So, they are using the above ‘parsing’ to avoid ‘releasing’ because they are getting something for holding it back.

I doubt if Epstein just kept it in his head. Also I doubt if he just had a list. There has to be video tapes.

Bondi has lost her credibility. From the list sitting on her desk to there is no list. Sadly the hedonism, perversion and decadence that permeates American culture has not left powerful people unaffected. These are not the sort of people who will humbly apologize and yield their power. Bondi may have been overall a good AG but it is hard to see how she will now be taken seriously.

3 degrees of separation. Its not a theory.

there is always a way to tie anyone you choose to a bad guy— somewhere or some time in their past.

this includes all people up to and including anyone 3-4 generations back.

If any one in the trump team prosecutes or exposes the list... trump who admittedly paid politicians and ran with the “billionaire” jet set crowds for decades... would be implicated by hook or by crook.

someone anonymous and non extraditable would have to “leak” the irrefutable list... say a snowden or the wikileaks guy... Not blondi. my guess is, the wikileaks guy has the list or knows who does. what WAS his name???

OR— God’s invisible hand.

So there’s no “credible evidence” that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals.

This is almost impossible to accept. Epstein was, of course, a depraved person. And we are supposed to believe that he did nothing with all he knew about his “guests”?

Oh, well. I suppose we’ll learn the real truth in about 100 years, when some historian stumbles on some forgotten papers in some archive somewhere.

Um, because there were "actual" clients? And our fed LEOs and intel know exactly who each and every single one is through manifests, paper/digital trials and Blondi's own words.

We prosecuted Madame Maxell as pimp-tress - where are the Johns? Rhetorical question; they're VIPs under protection from the Deep State.

It could be a guest list. A business list. A Christmas list.

It's not "almost" impossible to accept, it's 100% impossible to accept.

He had to have more than a rolodex to blackmail.

we will know what is going on, if they whack ghislane (epstein’s right hand woman) ... who was most likely an employee of the CIA (most likely still is).

at a certain point, set by God— whatever was once hidden, will be brought to light. hence today we have the revelation that CIA/Oswald connection has been known, supported and hidden by both sides for decades... and has been suppressed by all of the likely or even unlikely parties.
clinton, obama, the bush oligarchy, reagan, house speakers, senate leaders... all the three letter agencies... five eyes and most leaders of the western nations.

Virtually all have carried this known data to their graves— under threats to them and their progeny if they rat things out.
the julius ceasar play, was not a play, it has been a plan used by the PTB for millenia— to govern, gain power and keep it.

ghislane is the next canary in the coal mine. IMHO

Except there is no evidence of blackmail. It just pooped up out of the clear blue sky...Gotta love the media.

Could be, seems logical they would get rid of the long term risk. I agree, the ‘three letter acronym’ agency that you mention must have involvement.

The minute she flipped on the story that was it with her.

Kash and Dan were done when they did the interview. Dan looked horrible but he went along with it. Trump gave them the ok so he’s fallen with me. Tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Literally.
