Bruno’s trainer is inadvertently responsible for the dog’s poisoning, by leaving his kennel easily accessible to invasion by someone who wanted the dog quickly dead and out of the way. Maybe it used to be safe to shelter police dogs that way, but that would have been before Italy began working at reducing unwanted immigration.

here is a reminder for those that havent seen this of when a US Marshall’s K9 saved his life and would have died if dog hadn’t been airlifted. He did have on a bullet proof vest but was shot elsewhere. Handler stayed with him after surgery.
