So, if 365 hot dogs over the course of a year increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 7%, the 10 I MIGHT eat in a year will raise my risk by 0.19%.
Worth it.

“They had this fantastic Hot Dog there for just, $2., if I recall. I loved them. These Dogs were foot long Polish Sausages,”
The hotdogs combo is STILL $1.50.
Thet discontinued the polish dog option a couple of years ago.
They also changed from Coke to Pepsi. :(

One ‘doctor’ kept trying to push me for a pacemaker. I kept refusing.
He said I’d be back in three years to get one anyways.
That was 5 years ago this past April!...................

Who eats one hot dog? I eat four Costco dogs every visit. Indeed, this is the high point of the shopping day.
Just bring your own saurkraut and chopped onions since fine damned cheapskate accounting department grinch took them away

They’re switching back to Coke products any minute now. Should be some time this month.
And I’m a Costco pizza slice and a drink guy. Around $2 for that, it’s the expensive lunch, compared to the hot dog lunch. It’s my cheap pizza guilty pleasure. As one young man of my acquaintance proclaims, “Costco pizza is just way better than it has any right to be!”

I ate two on Friday
I put lots of fresh onions and sauerkraut on them, so I assume that balances-out with fiber and probiotics.....

So… you’re telling me eating unsweetened meat increases your chance for diabetes MORE than sugar sweetened soda?! BS
Likely these are obese individuals who drink diet soda thinking it’s healthy for them.

NO KETCHUP ON A HOT DOG!!!!!🌭

I didn’t even do that when I lived in NYC where they are readily available from street carts! In a related study, researchers found that those who consumes Schickhaus hot dogs tended to live 3.6 years longer than the consumers of other brands.

I suspect that its quite possible that with all 3 of these things its much like the situation with the hysteria over cigarettes. It wasnt so much that all of these things are particularly bad but there is one or more producers using a particularly dangerous production method or ingredient.
It was the backlash from the cigarette hysteria that created the everything bacon trend that lasted for a decade or so.
