Attorney General Pam Bondi’s early March interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, in which she claimed she uncovered a “truckload” of evidence related to Jeffrey Epstein, took on new meaning this weekend after the DOJ and FBI publicly concluded the so-called “Epstein Files” do not exist.
Axios exclusively reported on the DOJ and FBI’s findings on Sunday night, calling it the “first time Trump’s administration has officially contradicted conspiracy theories” that convicted sex offender Epstein was killed in order to keep secret his list of ultra-powerful clients, who many believe he later blackmailed for personal gain.
Hannity confronted Bondi in the March 3rd interview, saying that many in Trump’s base expected more information to be made public, a major campaign promise from the president.
“We all did! And the FBI handed over a couple hundred pages of documents. But you know, Sean, I gave them a deadline of Friday at 8 a.m. to get us everything, and a source had told me where the documents were being kept. Southern District of New York, shock,” Bondi said, suggesting a cover-up was the reason she had been unable to fully disclose the “Epstein Files” up until that point.
“So we got them all by — hopefully all of them — Friday at eight a.m., thousands of pages of documents. I have the FBI going through them and Kash [Patel] is also, now that we have Kash here, it’s a game changer of course, and Kash, Director Patel, is going to get us a detailed report as to why the FBI withheld all of those documents,” Bondi claimed.
“Okay, I want to be clear because I think people got frustrated because they were expecting more. You were expecting more and you didn’t find out less than 24 hours before the release you got a whistleblower that confirmed that there were way more documents that they were supposed to turn over and then you found out just before that,” Hannity followed up.
“Well, sure. And we were looking at these documents going, these aren’t all the ‘Epstein Files.’ You know, they’re flight logs. They were names and victims’ names. And we’re going, where’s the rest of the stuff?” Bondi replied, referring to information the DOJ had previously released.
“And that’s what the FBI had turned over to us. And so a source said, ‘Whoa, all this evidence is sitting in the Southern District of New York.’ So based on that, I gave them the deadline Friday at eight. A truckload of evidence arrived. It’s now in the possession of the FBI. Kash is going to get me and himself, really, a detailed report as to why all these documents and evidence had been withheld. And you know, we’re going to go through it, go through as fast as we can, but go through it very cautiously to protect all the victims of Epstein, because there are a lot of victims,” she added.
“Well, you had identified in phase one over 254. Now, is that the only thing that would be redacted? Will everything else be made public that you get in your possession?” Hannity asked.
“Yeah, the FBI hasn’t had– obviously they haven’t looked at the thousands of pages of documents that they’ve just received Friday. Kash has a team going through them, and it’s always about protecting the victim. But you know what, we believe in transparency, and America has the right to know. The Biden administration sat on these documents. No one did anything with them. And why were they sitting in the Southern District of New York? I want a full report on that. Sadly, these people don’t believe in transparency. But I think more, unfortunately, I think a lot of them don’t live in honesty. And it’s a new day. It’s a new administration. And everything’s going to come out to the public. The public has a right to know. Americans have a right to know,” Bondi insisted.
The memo released by Bondi’s Justice Department and Patel’s FBI said, “This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list.’ There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions. We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.”
Many of the MAGA faithful immediately cried foul and accused the Trump administration of yet another cover-up, including Elon Musk.
Below are some reactions from the MAGA base, citing Bondi’s interview with Hannity:
🚨BETRAYAL🚨 Bondi said back in February that the Epstein Client List was sitting on her desk. And that it was a TRUCKLOAD of documents!
Now the DOJ and FBI claim the list never existed and that Epstein never blackmailed anyone.

🚨MARCH: Pam Bondi says a “TRUCKLOAD” of Epstein files just arrived. Thousands of pages. FBI reviewing them.
🚨JULY: DOJ says there’s NO client list. Suicide. Case closed.
What happened to the truckload? What happened to the truth? pic.twitter.com/154xjY2Esk

FLASHBACK: In March, Pam Bondi said there was a truckload of Jeffrey Epstein files and the FBI Kash Patel were reviewing.
Now, the DOJ says there’s NO client list and the case is all but closed. The American people deserve answers, not a Axios report. pic.twitter.com/gkMqedDIcP

This is a major security breach—look at her eyes and body language.
AG Pam Bondi is compromised, and the US justice system is hijacked.
She hyped a "truckload" of Epstein files with a client list but now the DOJ and FBI deny any credible evidence.
Epstein was an FBI informant. pic.twitter.com/M1hOSc3mF1

Far more likely that Trump has directed them to drop the investigation as it will do major harm to some nation that will not survive the truth. My guess would be the UK, but others have suggested Israel because something like this could be a Mossad operation? Heck, I don’t know but I agree with Scott Adams, that we will never see the truth, even though our conspiracy theories are also likely wrong as well.
Leavitt has confirmed this story. The real question to seek an answer to is why would the Trump camp even bother to promise these files and lists to voters if they knew there was something to hide regarding themselves?
If they had never promised anything, very little would be talked about it now.
Something happened after they took over and that is what we really need to know. It was always possible that the last admin and previous ones could have destroyed evidence. It is also very possible that Epstein is still alive and living in another country.
I, myself do not think he is dead.
If someone uncovered all of this it could be the story of the century.
Bondi seems to be quite the dud.
Way past time to shit or get off the pot there Pam.
Becoming difficult to believe you are any better than your predecessor
Fake blonde.
Checks the first box for getting a job a Faux News.
Faux News is a revolving door.
She’ll be there after Trump’s term is up, maybe before.
So what is more valuable. Using the list for blackmailing recalcitrant congress critters? Or releasing the names. I would be OK if Trump were to use it for political gain and then release it all the day before Vance is inaugurated.
I think it’s beyond cynical to propose that these criminal records be withheld for political advantage.
Come clean, Pam. Who ordered the cover-up?
