Almost 62 years after President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, the Central Intelligence Agency has revealed that one of their officers had contact with Lee Harvey Oswald before and after the November killing, documents released this week and first reported by Axios have revealed.
The documents concern a CIA officer who specialized in psychological warfare known as George Joannides. The crux of the revelation is in a document dated Jan 17, 1963 revealing that Joannides had an alias and fake driver’s license under the name “Howard Gebler.” Prior to Thursday's document revelation, the CIA had denied that “Howard” was in fact Joannides, who had been in contact with an anti-communist activist group working against Cuba’s dictator Fidel Castro.
The CIA had claimed for decades their operatives had no connection with the Cuban Student Directorate, which is where the activists published Oswald’s pro-Castro writings following the assassination. The student group was often referred to as DRE for its Spanish-language initials. Jefferson Morley, an expert on the assassination told the outlet, “The cover story for Joannides is officially dead. This is a big deal. The CIA is changing its tune on Lee Harvey Oswald.”
The CIA’s Miami Division oversaw “all aspects of political action and psychological warfare” and was where Joannides served as deputy chief. The agency funneled money to the anti-Castro student group and covertly directed their actions. In August of 1963, four DRE members got into an altercation with Oswald in New Orleans while he was passing out pro-Castro “Fair Play for Cuba Committee” literature. Weeks later, Oswald debated DRE activists on local television, giving his communist leanings more public exposure. Both incidents were portrayed in Oliver Stone’s 1991 film “JFK.”

Different people were involved in each piece.
If the CIA wanted to take out JFK, they wouldn’t have done it in broad daylight with cameras rolling in Dealey Plaza.
They’d set him up with a woman, probably someone they’d groomed or compromised. She drugs him, renders him incapacitated—easy target. Then boom, they eliminate him cleanly, make it look like a heart attack or overdose.
And the girl? She disappears. Gone. No loose ends. That’s how these black ops work.
Everyone knew it - except maybe you.
That the CIA had involvement with an anti-Castro group which had a hostile relationship with the pro-Castro Oswald doesn't mean the CIA was working with Oswald.
Oh, and officer J.D. Tippet knew something or saw something, that’s why he was killed, possibly by Ruby, not Oswald.
The new evidence that the Kennedy family hired two doctors who separately concluded he was hit twice in front and once from behind then add the original x-rays were “lost” and a skull section was “lost” is all you need to know. The CIA and FBI are dirty.
There is a videotape that the doctors and nurses in the JFK operating room at the Dallas hospital made in 2014. They all averred that the neck wounds showed that JFK was shot from the front; the FBI intervened to tell them that: 1) this wasn’t the correct story line and it needed to change; and, 2) they might need a new job if they didn’t go along with the official lies.
Oswald alone killed Kennedy. Any other speculative supposition is your personal fantasy.

I think it was elements within the CIA, those still loyal to Allen Dulles. They probably wouldn’t have done it unless they could control the investigation after. That means the new POTUS would have to be in on it, and agree to the cover up.

The coverup is the hardest part.
Even a President cannot manage one on their own.
That is why the coverup is the key to the crime.
It greatly reduces the number of possible suspects.
When you're sending a message to current and future politicians, you do it in broad daylight with cameras rolling.
The murder of a beloved President in broad daylight live on TV was a form of mass trauma for the entire country.
The CIA discovered in its MK Ultra experiments that mind control was most effective after the subject was traumatized.
If future politicians had an IQ above 95, they’d understand the message clearly if JFK had been found dead in bed—whether alone or beside a woman.
But to sharpen the humiliation, to send a message so grotesque it echoes through history, they might have staged it with a talkative young boy. Not just an assassination, but a spectacle engineered to destroy legacy, erode myth, and warn successors: defy the machinery, and the machine will make an example of you.
There was no time for subtlety. They needed to send a message to the world and needed to send it fast.
Kennedy’s brain was lost also, by “coincidence”.
Tell me who did it, how they did it, and why they did it.
