You have a very good point. Some people are easily conditioned to accept leftist talk points if they hear and read it daily. It’s like social distancing, people still do it without thinking.
One of my pet peeves is “Native American”. It’s almost universal in this country. Others have it right, such as “First Peoples” in Canada or aborigine in Australia.
A native American is anyone native to America, which means anyone born her and is a citizen is a native American.
I just say Indian. My great grandpa was a Cherokee and he never used the stupid term Native American, which is what my grandmother told me.
