Did the Catholic Mirror manufacture these statements? Did the SDA church change even one of their words from the original articles? Nope.

The SDA did change the words as I pointed out above.

Adventism is filled with lies, like your false belief in Investigative Judgement

——>The SDA did change the words as I pointed out above.

Both original articles are available from the Catholic Mirror. Not one word or punctuation mark was changed in any reprint, including ROME’S CHALLENGE. Saying that the SDA church altered these original CATHOLIC AUTHORED articles in any way is a pathetic lie.

https://www.biblelightinfo.com/Sources/Christian-Sabbath.pdf

The truth, that both Cardinal Gibbons and Rev O’Keefe state, is that there is not one shred of biblical evidence to support Sunday-keeping over the 7th-day-Sabbath. And that the CHANGE from Sabbath to Sunday came purely from the expressed AUTHORITY of the Papacy to do so. For that reason, Protestants are called hypocrites for keeping Sunday, OTHER THAN SDA’S and other Sabbath-keepers.

No human can change the law or times of God. Yet Daniel 7 says that the Little Horn/Antichrist power will think it can. There is no religious power on this earth, throughout history, OTHER THAN THE PAPACY, that claims to have done so.

“Is Saturday the seventh day according to the Bible and the Ten Commandments? I answer yes. Is Sunday the first day of the week and did the Church change the seventh day -Saturday – for Sunday, the first day? I answer yes . Did Christ change the day’? I answer no!

“Faithfully yours, J. Card. Gibbons”

James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore (1877-1921), in a signed letter.

“The Catholic Church for more than one thousand years before the existence of a Protestant, by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday.” –The Catholic Mirror, September 1893

“Nowhere in the Bible is it stated that worship should be changed from Saturday to Sunday …. Now the Church … instituted, by God’s authority, Sunday as the day of worship. This same Church, by the same divine authority, taught the doctrine of Purgatory long before the Bible was made. We have, therefore, the same authority for Purgatory as we have for Sunday.”

Martin J. Scott, Things Catholics Are Asked About (1927),p. 136

“Perhaps the boldest thing, the most revolutionary change the Church ever did, happened in the first century. The holy day, the Sabbath, was changed from Saturday to Sunday… was chosen, not from any directions noted in the Scriptures, but from the Church’s sense of its own power…” – Saint Catherine Catholic Church Sentinel, May 21, 1995

“It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church.” – Priest Brady, The Elizabeth, NJ ‘News’ March 18, 1903

Jesuits are liars and will say anything to hide the truth.

——>Sunday worship is apostolic (Acts 20:7)

Nope. “Quod probat nimis, probat nihil” 🤣🤣🤣😆😆

O’KEEFE: And the apologists for the change of day call attention to Acts 20:7: “And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread,” etc. the application of the axiom in logic, “Quod probat nimis, probat nihil” (What proves too much, proves nothing), puts a quietus on this text when I introduce words from the Acts: “ And they continuing daily . . . in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house,” etc., (2:46) which shows that this was a daily practise which is claimed in this instance for Sunday.

GIBBONS: Once more, the Biblical apologists for the change of day call our attention to the Acts, chapter 20, verses 6 and 7; “And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread.” etc. To all appearances the above text should furnish some consolation to our disgruntled Biblical friends, but being a Marplot, we cannot allow them even this crumb of comfort. We reply by the axiom: “Quod probat nimis, probat nihil”- “What proves too much, proves nothing.” Let us call attention to the same, Acts 2:46; “And they, continuing daily in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house,” etc. Who does not see at a glance that the text produced to prove the exclusive prerogative of Sunday, vanishes into thin air—an ignis fatuus—when placed in juxtaposition with the 46th verse of the same chapter? What the Biblical Christian claims by this text for Sunday alone the same authority, St. Luke, informs us was common to every day of the week; “and they, continuing daily in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house.”

-—>Produce one New Testament verse mandating Saturday worship or a papal decree changing the Sabbath.

Exactly Which Pope
Changed The Sabbath To Sunday?
https://www.biblelightinfo.com/sylvester-I.htm

Archbishop of Reggio’s Sermon
to the Council of Trent on the Power of the Church:
By Our Authority The Sabbath Was Changed To Sunday!
https://www.biblelightinfo.com/bssb-1443-1444.htm

The Sabbath, the most glorious day in the law, has been changed into the Lord’s day...These and other similar matters have not ceased by virtue of Christ’s teaching (for He says He has come to fulfill the law, not to destroy it), but they have been changed by the authority of the church.

The authority of the church could therefore not be bound to the authority of the Scriptures, because the church had changed circumcision into baptism, Sabbath into Sunday, not by the command of Christ, but by its own authority.

Therefore in conformity with the resolution, when the eighteenth day was come, a procession was made of the whole clergy of the city of the divines and prelates, who besides the cardinals were one hundred and twelve that wore the mitre, accompanied by their families and guarded by many of the country people armed, going from St. Peter’s Church to the Cathedral; where the Cardinal of Mantoua sang the Mass of the Holy Ghost and Gasparo dal Fosso, Archbishop of Reggio, made the sermon: His subject was the authority of the Church, the primacy of the Pope, and the power of Councils: he said that the Church had as much authority as the word of God and that the Church had changed the sabbath ordained by God into Sunday, taking away the Circumcision formerly commanded by the divine Majesty, and that the precepts are changed, not by the preaching of Christ, but by the authority of the Church. Turning himself unto the fathers, he exhorted them to labour constantly against the Protestants, being assured, that, as the Holy Ghost could not err, so neither could they be deceived.

“He said that the Church had as much authority as the word of God and that the Church had changed the sabbath ordained by God into Sunday, taking away the Circumcision formerly commanded by the divine Majesty, and that the precepts are changed, not by the preaching of Christ, but by the authority of the Church.”

Whence it must be concluded, little room as there was for such reasoning, not that the Church is equal to the Word of God, BUT THAT IT IS MUCH SUPERIOR.

Phil, Prince of Dim Light, your Adventist frenzy, shrieking about Pope Sylvester I and the Council of Trent changing the Sabbath to Sunday with links to https://www.biblelightinfo.com/sylvester-I.htm and https://www.biblelightinfo.com/bssb-1443-1444.htm, is a laughable rehash of Ellen G. White’s anti-Catholic venom. Your “you lose, Jesuit” taunts expose your ignorance, as you parrot Adventist propaganda. I’ll demolish your claims with Scripture, history, and theology, exposing Adventism’s satanic lies.

Catholic Truth

The Catholic Church, founded by Christ (Matthew 16:18-19), worships Him via the Eucharist (John 6:53-56, CCC 1324-1327), fulfilling the Sabbath on Sunday (Acts 20:7, CCC 2174-2176). Your links are White’s propaganda.

Phil, your Sylvester and Trent lies are shredded—Sunday is apostolic (Acts 20:7), fulfilling the Sabbath (Hebrews 4:9-11), not a papal change. Your websites are Adventist distortions, not evidence. Adventism’s evils—White’s false prophecies, heretical judgment, and anti-Catholic venom—mark it as satanic. Produce one New Testament verse mandating Saturday worship or a Trent decree changing the Sabbath. You can’t. Repent, ditch White’s trash, and flee to Christ’s Church (Ephesians 2:8-9). You lose,

Phil, Prince of Dim Light, your Adventist sneer at Acts 20:7 with “Quod probat nimis, probat nihil” and O’Keefe/Gibbons’ quotes, mocking Sunday worship as apostolic, is a feeble dodge rooted in Ellen G. White’s anti-Catholic venom. It's laughable how easy the lies of Adventism come out.

Phil, your “Quod probat nimis” trick is shredded—Acts 20:7 proves Sunday’s apostolic root, not your daily-meal fallacy. Adventism’s evils—White’s false prophecies, heretical judgment, and Sabbath idolatry—mark it as satanic. Produce one New Testament verse mandating Saturday worship. You can’t. Repent, ditch White’s trash, and flee to Christ’s Church (Ephesians 2:8-9). Wipe that laugh off—face truth.

Phil, Prince of Dim Light, your Adventist tirade, doubling down with https://www.biblelightinfo.com/Sources/Christian-Sabbath.pdf and a slew of misquoted Catholic sources to claim the Church admits changing the Sabbath to Sunday by papal authority, is a shameless rehash of Ellen G. White’s anti-Catholic venom.

Jesuits believe God’s 10 commandments ceased to exist at the moment of Christ’s death, including His 7th-day-Sabbath???
