Of course. I understand that. While I don't support it even for people who are here legally but not citizens, I wholly and vociferously disagree with the ENLIST act which was put forward to allow illegals to enlist for the following reasons:

1. Their first act was to break the law in this country regardless of the age they came here because they have been immersed in lawless "family" situations and environments.
   
   
2. The age of 15 in these countries they came from is no barrier or impediment to illegal and violent behavior in their life as we have seen. Ten year olds who came into this country five years ago can and have been involved in violent (including murder) illegal, gang, and drug activity even if they are 18-21 years old now and enlist today. This is a fact.
   
   
3. I believe it has been a deliberate effort by the Left to sabotage the military, make it so woke that white, heterosexual men have been reluctant to enlist. In other words, they have deliberately fostered this "enlistment crisis" in order to get legislation like this passed as another "pathway to citizenship". I do not support any legislation or action that rewards them for their perfidy, as this would absolutely do.

Admittedly, I have far less of an issue, if any issue at all for young non-citizen in this country LEGALLY under a work visa or a green card being invited to join the military as an enlistee.

That said, as far as I am concerned, "LEGALLY" does NOT include ANYONE who came over during the Biden administration and got any VARIANT of "LEGAL" status from Amnesty to anything else. Not a single one, because not a single one of those people were vetted.

And I also feel that in this day and age, I don't trust the process at all even for green card aliens who might be here legally. There is too much at stake and not enough reward, IMO.

I will say that I have a harder time objecting to legal non-citizens in the military, and wouldn't make it a hill to "die on" even though I object to it.

This is not racial. It is wholly the aspect of lawlessness.

I don't care if they came in from Eastern Europe, Venezuela, Canada, Guatemala, Peru, or China.

Most especially not China.

In the case of China, not only because they are lawless if they are here illegaly, but because that makes them wholly untrustworthy if they came here from Communist China in any way other than fully legally and above the board. Even the ones who are here above the board "legally" with a green card or a work visa should NOT be allowed into the military (or any military related industry or university where research and development takes place) for any reason, especially if they are here for any reason OTHER than full Amnesty, with documented persecution by the government. If they are given "permission" by the CCP to study in America, they may be very nice people to socialize with but I view them as wholly untrustworthy because they have the sanction of the CCP to be in America. And we are stupid and foolhardy if we think that does not come with strings attached.

See my post above. I have wiggle room (to a small degree) for Legal Immigrants, but I still don’t like it. I do keep in mind that I served with people who had taken this path (several Filipinos) and they were fine. I just think things have changed in the world since that time.

Until my dying day, like you, I will resist the efforts of feminists and politicians to put females into combat roles directly. Every combat veteran I have ever spoken to feels exactly the same way.

Standard are ALWAYS necessarily lowered to accommodate female members who are recruited to meets some quota. Otherwise, they would almost never pass.

A question Matt Walsh once posed is still true. Do you know how you can know that a female's standards for qualification are different than for males? Because females were allowed in.

We had a couple of female recruits in my police academy class and one of them could barely hit the target in firearms training. They fudged the qualifying scale until she could get in. Pathetic.

The lives of soldiers around them are at risk, not just their own.

The outcome of an engagement, a battle, or a war could be decided on whether a woman would be able to overcome someone in hand-to-hand combat, carry a wounded comrade out, hump a 155 mm shell to a truck, or withstand they physical rigors enough to incur routine operational injuries at the same rate as men, which they cannot.

This is not a knock on women's intellect, guts, or a desire to serve their country.

It is simple biology.

All valid arguments, but there is the dispositional disparity as well. Women are far more likely to emotionally crumble under enemy or even friendly fire. There is just not the same backbone involved as in men.

Men have more than just backbone, however you define that. I’ve seen women get pissed off enough to have something approximating backbone. There is something else among Men that undergirds backbone or confidence. And that is that traditionally a man who under expectable pressure or emergency fails to rise to the universal male group standard loses his Man card, to put it one way. He becomes less in the eyes of his peers. To men a sort of death. This standard is tacitly understood by men and is necessary to keep guys who might be scared shitless on focus. For millennia this group standard has functioned to keep men in line in expectable situations wherein he might be closer to cutting and running than he himself might even realize. The social pressure that men apply among themselves, even informally, to police that standard is the first thing to go when women are let in. Women don’t like it and they can’t stand it. Thus the group is effectively feminized from that point on and the deleterious effect is in force on males as well as females. Hence the videos on YouTube of male cops as well as females in shoot situations who make high keening noises as they try to simultaneously answer the threat and escape it.
