A Navy veteran and father of four was shot and killed during a bizarre broad-daylight shootout with Texas cops — in which he appeared to be goading the officers into firing at him in early June, newly released bodycam footage shows.
Salvador Valdiviezo, 35, was killed while a female officer was injured on June 1 after two cops with the El Paso Police Department responded to a family violence call in the residential neighborhood.
The officers encountered an armed Valdiviezo in the driveway of the home. The female officer ordered him to put his hands up as he opened fire.
The startled officer yelped as she started firing back, supported by her male partner behind her, according to their body camera footage.
The officers zigzagged down the road before using a parked truck for cover. Valdiviezo stalked around the front of the car and out into the street as the gunfire resumed.

I saw an unintentionally hilarious video of four obese, minority, female police officers, attempting to subdue a black man.
The four women surrounded the guy and began pawing at him in an effort to lay their hands on him, and he just kept swatting their hands away. All the while, they were no doubt talking to him, but he wasn’t having any part of it. I watched it for several minutes until I realized that there was no way this was going to end with that guy in captivity. As I recall, he was shirtless and barefoot.
Eventually, the guy had enough of it, and broke out of the cordon of female police officers and ran. They vainly gave chase to him, lumbering after him in pursuit, but there was no way they were going to catch him.
I agree with your assessment, but in firefighting forces and police departments, municipalities have made that choice and there’s nothing that can be done about it.
Until my dying day, like you, I will resist the efforts of feminists and politicians to put females into combat roles directly. Every combat veteran I have ever spoken to feels exactly the same way.
Preferably a way in which law enforcement officers and other members of the public are not injured and killed.
Much more preferably to get the help needed to deal with what is often a temporary situation rather than a permanent “solution”.
Glad the officers are going to be okay.
Perp went out singing Chinga Chavin’s ditty, “I’m proud to be an a$$hole from El Paso”
Maddie Bosch is pretty tough.
Agreed. The mental state of a person is what decides these choices. Those on a destructive path are influenced by the negative forces in our country. The pessimism blasted out by the media everyday, the “protests” funded by the wealthy anarchists and too much crime/over crowding/ rush hour traffic/inflation/ job worries all contribute to break down peoples psyche and demoralize them. Think of the wealthy people who have committed suicide. All are works of Satan.
Each department should have just enough females for required strip and cavity searches.
“El Paso Police Department responded to a family violence call in the residential neighborhood.”
Family violence and disputes are well known, to be among the most dangerous and unpredictable calls. Due to the heightened emotions involved.
A lot of spray and pray and screaming from that female. Even one time she was running for cover and shooting one handed backwards as she ran.
Several moments there where a well aimed shot could have got him. El Paso PD used to be known for markmanship....
Massive army base, Ft Bliss, is in El Paso. Local news always plays up the military angle when a soldier is arrested. I once wrote a letter to the editor of the EP Times noting that for the age/sex demographic soldiers were far less likely to commit crimes than the population at large and questioned why the Times never published a criminal’s profession if he were a plumber or a car salesman. Letter went unpublished.
I agree with you about this issue. We are not the French, and our military should not be the French Foreign Legion.
I have come to believe one of the reasons for the abhorrent Democrat administration of the military that grew even worse than before just as soon as Obama got into office was to grow the numbers in the military of foreigners who hate the USA. (in addition to purging personnel who were Patriots)
Like this:
A female Texas state trooper got fired for doing that on routine traffic stops a few years ago.
I do believe you are correct, sir.
Drop me into Nigeria with a well oiled M14, 10 spare mags, ammo drops etc and I’ll take out as much boko haram as I can before I go. This should be normalized heh.
To each their own.
Yeah. No! I miss “Crate and Barrel” though!
Illegals cannot join the military. These non-citizens are legal residents, and already have a path to citizenship. Military service just accelerates the process. A good friend of mine who came here from the UK as a teen joined when he was 17. He's one of the most patriotic people I know, and Ultra MAGA.
That said, the current rules consider the US to be "at war" (Global War on Terrorism), and that means they can apply for citizenship right after boot camp. I disagree with that policy. IMHO they should have to complete at least 2 years of honorable service, or meet the standard 5-year residency requirement to apply. Once they meet the time/service requirement, their processing should receive priority.
“I am absolutely, 100% against this method of obtaining citizenship. I know there are people on this form who disagree with me, and I understand and respect their point of view, I just won’t change my point of view on this.”

Sounds like may be problematic as well.
Gotta like how the #2 cop wisely retreated, reconnoitered that his partner had been shot but shooter was headed back to the house while partner had protection of the truck, then came right back into line of fire and exposed himself directly to shooter on the driveway who was firing away, and put 2 of 3 into shooter center mass.
