I'm so conditioned to expect today's prices that at first I thought $150 magnificent meal for all was per person. But yeah, a large group's bill back then was the crazy extravagant sum of $150.
Got off work in the morning after 11:00 - 7:00 a.m. shift, showered, put suit on, JP at courthouse. Had lunch, then back to bed before the night shift. Next morning started “honeymoon” - drove the ALCAN South from AK back when it wasn’t completely paved, gravel road in Southern Yukon/Northern B.C.....
