I read the comments at the source and pretty much agree with this one:

James

“Columbia Law School’s Elora Mukherjee who is representing the Honduran family suing ICE.” Columbia at it again. Only Joe Biden to blame for this problem. 12 Million ghosts crossed Biden’s Wide Open Borders. US Gov’t now must clean up Biden’s mess as others suffer. Biden Did This.“

They closed the comments on yahoo.com on this pretty quick. The article doesn’t say what the basis of the law suit is. Typical.

Hmmmmmm

Yes a sad story...

But then you read the word ‘immigrant’

which of course doesnt fit...

These are not IMMIGRANTS...

They are illegal aliens...

All she has do is go back home to Honduras and she and her illegal alien 6 yo will no longer be ‘detained’

It is not our responsibility to pay for every sick kid in the world. I feel for the family, but they have a country that needs to pony up.

The illegals, through the democrats, are going to flood the US with lawsuits, costing time and money. Just like the dems did to President Trump his first term.

...MSNBC’s Ayman Mohyeldin, Catherine Rampell, Anotnia Hylton and Elise Jordan speak with Columbia Law School’s Elora Mukherjee who is representing the Honduran family.
And there you have America today: A Muslim, three bitches and a woman who could be anything from an Indian Muslim to an Egyptian involved with a Central American.

Who cares? Kick them out! If you are worried about them...send them money in whatever crappy country they are from. Get OUT!!!

Enough already with the tears and so forth. I’m more worried about the effect of illegal invaders on the USA than the ILLEGALS and their circumstances. Most people in the world have circumstances that suck. Go on a mission to help them in THEIR crappy countries.

Healthcare in Honduras is on par with most of the US. The child could receive the same medicine and treatment in his native country at a fraction of the cost, and using not a cent of US taxpayer money.

If these four whining reporterettes and lawyer would pool their money, the kid could get treatment in San Pedro Sula.

Side note: My expat friend just had a colonoscopy in San Pedro Sula. Total cost 6200 lempiras.

The Trump administration should be sueing the Honduran woman and all others entering the country illegaly for over head costs of the government and the countries they came from.

Their story, as with all such stories, begins with either "we crossed the border illegally" or "we illegally violated the terms of our visas".

"Family! Child! Leukemia!

We won't bother to tell you about the basis for the lawsuit. We just want to hide behind sympathetic stories, as always, because our actual ideology is just utter trash."

How long were they detained?
Are they illegal aliens?
Did the kid die?
