Trump Threatens to Deport Elon Musk by Using DOGE: ‘DOGE Is the Monster’ That Might ‘Eat Elon!’

President Donald Trump indicated Tuesday morning that he is open to deporting Elon Musk — amid his renewed battle with the Tesla boss.

Speaking with reporters ahead of a flight to Florida on Tuesday, the president was asked about whether he would consider deporting the South African mogul.

“We’ll have to take a look,” Trump said. “We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon! Wouldn’t that be terrible?”

After a brief detente between the president and his former DOGE lieutenant, the war of words has ratcheted up again over the past 24 hours — with Musk revving up his criticism of the Trump-backed “Big, Beautiful” budget bill. Musk, in a Monday post on X, denounced the legislation and floated the idea of forming a new political party.

“It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country – the PORKY PIG PARTY!!” Musk wrote. “Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.”

Trump is being particularly nasty and foolish with the deportation threat. Musk is a naturalized citizen ... Like his first wife Ivana ... Like his current wife Melania. Would he like Melania to live under such a threat? He won’t be president forever. He shouldn’t go there.

I wish these two would make up, but if he hasn’t gone after Hillary or Soros yet, he’s got no business going after Elon.

This whole Trump / Musk Feud is foolish and juvenile..

Like two bulls fighting in a field, and not even over who gets to mount the cutest cows or who get the nicest patch of grass to eat.

At least Musk has backed off a couple of times, and tried to calm things down. But Trump seemingly can’t ever forgive or forget a slight, real or imagined.

There have always been disagreements between heads of state and CEO's in the private sector in this country, since time immemorial.

But the public was never privy to them. These spats and arguments were always kept behind closed doors, as befits a society which placed value on propriety and recognized and respected public versus private domains.

The difference now is that these distinctions and walls have been broken down and we have become eavesdroppers and peeping Toms where dirty laundry has great value, is aired in public, and seen as somehow an entitlement by the masses.

To the point where everything public figures say and do to and with one another is mega-phoned in the public square by a media which is totally corrupted, irresponsible, and hell-bent on the politics of the personal and the allure of the sensational.

Trump isn't childish. Neither is Musk.

We, the public are.

We have become addicted to, and consumers of, titillation and smut.

Hends of state and CEO's and the media are feeding us just what we stupidly ask for and demand.

You can’t have a 3rd party be successful when its primary selling point is that it’s not the other two main parties.

Look at Libertarians, the always have this delusional belief they are so popular and powerful. It is not true in the least, as is demonstrated the positions they are not elected to fill.

Elon doesn’t even have a platform to form another 3rd party on. He’s delusional too.

He let his support for helping with the election go to his head.

And who will be the leader of this new party that’s going to save us from Trump?

Oh, yeah, of course.

Elon Musk.

his third party will split the GOP

It's a strong possibility. It was Perot who gave us Clinton

America is just too big for a multi party system (geographically). It’s peculiar but I don’t see it changing

Elon risked his fortune, his life and his reputation to expose $ Trillions of fraud on the MAGA project, the Trump said “just kidding.” Trump is being pragmatic since Washington is filled with crooks in both parties. But Musk rightly feels betrayed.

Yep.

Kabuki theater.

Keep everyone off balance, baffled and guessing.

Play one side against the other.

Therein lies power.

Rand Paul is an embarrassing, self-aggrandizing waste of a US Senate seat.

Yet he gets re-elected by his constituents. If his constituents feel as he does, that he's doing the right thing, then that is what really matters.

Except when it comes to electric cars, rockets, satellite internet, ...

I don’t like this feud at all. They’re both right. The debt is insane. You don’t get to pass bills without compromise.

A 3rd party isn’t the answer.

While brilliant, he has the attention span of gnat.

Guys who accomplish what Musk has accomplished in life have attention spans far better than most of us, as well as a lot more drive and ambition than most of us. If Musk is serious about forming a third party, he will - and he will build it up the same way he's built up Tesla, SpaceX, X/Twitter and StarLink. And given how many of us over the decades have been disgusted by the Uniparty and RINOs, I suspect a lot of conservatives will join him there.
