Tornados in Dodgeville and Madison! (So probably T storms and hail and stuff as well) Everything OK?

(I know, a bit of a hike from Ridgeway to Dodgeville, but to the MSM all of SW Wisconsin probably equals Dodgeville!)

Thanks, Pete!

We are A-OK. Just a lot of rain and wind, here. The Tornado Touchdown was NORTH of us and really, there wasn’t any damage to homes because it was in the middle of NOWHERE, though I’m sure some corn or soybeans fields took on some damage.

Luckily, it MISSED the Farm & Fleet, which was really my main concern - people and livestock REALLY depend upon them!

It was a harrowing few hours - Beau was out mowing for a neighbor and I couldn’t reach him by phone (cell coverage in, ‘The Driftless’ is awful - too many hills!) but he eventually got in touch with me and I went to pick him up where he was stranded in the rain.

Storms on and off all week/end. Supposedly a big gully-washer this Saturday.

My Cucumbers are MORE than happy. The tomatoes? They’re gonna suck this season. Already thinking of stocking up on canned tomatoes...

And I’m the, ‘Tomato Queen’ in these parts! Not this year. Grrrr!
