Did the WNBA Finally Kill Its Golden Goose? After a Year-and-a-Half of Public Beatings in a League Full of Women Who Despise Her, Caitlin Clark May Be Finished
Gateway Pundit ^ | June 26, 2025 | Jim Hᴏft

Caitlin Clark is assaulted by Chennedy Carter in a June 2024 WNBA game. Clark had no idea this was coming.

=====================================================================

It looks like the WNBA, the worst sports league in the history of mankind, has finally killed its Golden Goose, Caitlin Clark.

Former Iowa basketball player Caitlin Clark is the all-time greatest scorer in NCAA basketball. Along the way, she also broke most of the NCAA assist records.

Iowa’s Caitlin Clark broke every record imaginable in women’s AND men’s basketball in the 2023-2024 season.

• D-I scoring leader (3,951 pts) • only D-I player w/ 3,500 pts, 1,000 ast & 850 reb in a career • most pts in single season in D-I WBB (1,234) • most 3pt in single season in D-I hist (201) • most pts (491), ast (152), 3pt (78) in NCAAT in career • only player w/ 40 pts, 10 ast in NCAAT gm (she has 2) • only player w/ 30+ pt trip-dbl in NCAAT • only D-I player to led CBB in pts & ast in single season 2x • B1G all-time ast leader (1,144) • only player w/ > 3 career 25+ pt trip-dbl (she has 10)

Caitlin Clark also brought excitement to the game of women’s basketball – something unimaginable before she entered college.

Look at how Caitlin compared to the rest of the women’s NCAA players in her performance. This is an absolutely amazing chart that shows Caitlin’s excellence.

Look for the green dot in the upper right-hand corner of the chart! Via Secret Base.

Then Caitlin from Iowa went to play in the WNBA and was met with jealousy, bitterness, outright hatred, and abuse by the players, management, referees, and mainstream media.

Caitlin has become the punching bag for the rest of the league. This is how they treat their star.

NUMEROUS VIDEOS AT LINK..................

Another vicious attack.

The hits just kept coming – and completely ignored by the WNBA brass.

They keep beating her. This was after Caitlin returned to play after suffering an injury recently.

Caitlin has not been the same since the Connecticut game after returning to active play from the injury list.

Here are Caitlin Clark’s stats from the last five games.

Caitlin, the greatest shooter in women’s basketball history, is now 1 of 23 in 3-point shots in her last three games. That’s a 4% completion rate! What happened?

She has NEVER suffered such a slump.

Maybe all of the abuse, bad calls, crappy coaching, and vicious assaults have finally taken Caitlin down.

Caitlin looked slow, tired, and uninspired in her last game.

She’s only a young woman out of college. And she had no idea what she was stepping into.

Let’s hope the jealous, hateful ladies of the WNBA feel better now.

Caitlin may be finished.

She has a Nike shoe deal worth $28 million over eight years and numerous other lucrative deals. Plus I think she made several million from NIL deals in college.

Her pay from the Fever is a tiny part of her income.

This is what shows that these other women WNBA players are just STUPID.

For example, when Wayne Gretzky played in the NHL he never took a lot of hits. That is because his team mates protected him. That is because they knew playing with the Great One was going to make them millionaires. Even playing against him the opposing players knew he was bringing in a much larger TV audience that was making them wealthy.
Similar to what Tiger Woods did for golf.

Thankfully, Catlin now has Sophie Cunnigham on her team. Sophie is finally sticking up for her. It is amazing that the other players on her team are not.

Clark makes roughly $3.5 million dollars a year from product endorsements.

And she’d better rake it in while she can. Fame is fleeting.

She's not playing tonight.

Just saw that after I posted. So, I definitely won't be tuning into the Sparks vs. Fever game tonight.

Why do so many people on this site care about a Women’s basketball league and obsess over a woke, groveling player that constantly acts like she is in a struggle session?

I grew up in Connecticut. Since losing the Whalers, UConn Basketball, especially women's, and WNBA are the local sports there.

My tax guy has season tickets to the WNBA.

Caitlan Clark is a great talent, and that alone is worth of attention. The fact that she is a dominant player but is mistreated is an interesting story to many, but also a fable.

In men's professional sports, there is a competitive code of sportsmen, with some variation between the sports (golf is less "dirty" than rugby). Most men's sports pay well, and the status of being a professional sports player is very real. The chance of getting cut, suffering a career ending injury, or being traded into a bad situation is also real.

The WNBA doesn't confer the same kind of status. If a girl tells her pal that her date is a backup safety on the Carolina Panthers, her pal is impressed. If a guy says he's taking out the starting Center for the New York Liberty, his pal will be taken aback, and then ask how tall she is, and whether she likes men (Rebecca Lobo is the exception, a feminine woman who dresses and carries herself accordingly, and found very tall man).

The WNBA pay, by necessity, is going to be low compared to the men for obvious reasons. That means many WNBA women will take a job nursing, in real estate, teaching, law, business, whatever. There is NOT a lot of pressure on these women to behave, because they don't have that much to lose (unless they bring illegal drugs into Russia).

So, the women who play in the WNBA are among the best t what they do, and they might be bitter because they want more recognition. Asa group, they ACT like the ENTITLEMENT CLASS that they ARE, because they don't bring in as much money as they cost. There is a natural inclination for such to not admire talent that breaks past that, but resent it. (Matthew 21:38)

I just saw her recently in a State Farm commercial.
Not sure what she is getting paid, but I ma sure it is more than her WNBA contract.

Lately, I have been getting pop up videos on my Facebook feed for Sophie Cunnigham. She is Caitlin’s new team mate and protector.
Sophie is a tall blonde woman who looks pretty good in a bathing suit.

She had another year (or 2?) of eligibility at Iowa. She should have stayed there. Her NIL would have been as good as what she is making in the WNBA.

Next, she could probably make as much money, and not get the crap kicked out of her, if she founded her own "Harlem Globetrotters" She could do a travelling road show in non-WNBA markets and make a small fortune. For example, she could have a game in Des Moines and sell 15000 tickets at $75 a crack, easy. And Pittsburgh, and Omaha, and Kansas City, and Vegas, and Syracuse, etc.

Forget the mens level....I’ve watched a few wNBA games.excellent passing, overall not great shooting(they show you the highlights), weak rebounding, way too many layups. Clark is an outstanding talent in her league. Both NBA and wNBA are waning in their popularity.
But yes, Caitlin should go to Europe or Asia and the live off the international marketers advertising revenue. If I were her, I would be negotiating for European contract now, and make sure I take lots of time to heal from my injuries till then. Then skip out after current contract expires
I think she’s worth over 30 million now...so who cares about wNBA?

Remind me again how white people are so racist. These ghetto trash low lifes hate Clark because she has the gall to be better than them while being white. What angers me is the WNBA execs had an opportunity to do something about it and they chose not to.

Yep, I’ve also seen her in State Farm commercials and also Gatorade ads.

And WNBA pay for many is less than $100,000 and $200,000 is the highest salary I’ve seen mentioned. Don’t know what Caitlin’s salary is, but it’s tiny compared to her endorsement income.

How is it surprising? They hate America since they're "woke". They probably voter for Zohran Mamdani.

I can honestly say I have never watched a WNBA game in my life. I only have watched video clips on X or Facebook. I don’t know how I suddenly started getting these Sophie Cunningham videos.

It sure seems like they are using Caitlin as a punching bag. You would think the league management would want to protect their number one player. Just like the NFL protected Tom Brady and the NHL protected Wayne Gretzky.

Caitlin is bringing in views(REVENUE) to the WNBA that none of these other women players ever had. I am sure they are extremely jealous b#tches.
