She has been nothing but fantastic the last week or so and it can't have been easy speaking out especially as a member of Congress in the president's party.

This is the side of Trump that got him elected in 2016 and earned him the support of Americans who had never voted and those who switched parties to vote for him in 2024.

This is one of the reasons I’ve always supported him because he courageously seeks peace.

This has the neocons seething and raging as Trump elusively slipped from their muderous claws.

Everyone sounds like Mitt Romney or John McCain on the thread all of a sudden. 🙄 I have never been a Marjorie fan in terms of presentation, but she’s on point with regard to the deep state and forever wars.

And unlike other ‘MAGA’ counterparts who do drift into anti-Semitism — never got that from her. She’s not anti-Israel.

Can one not make peace by destroying a threat?

Iran has needed to be dealt with for decades. Were they close to finalizing a bomb? I don’t know. Weeks? Months? At some point, they would have been.

I thought that W might do similar. The optics of handing it ot Obama would have raised hell, but I didn’t trust Obama to fo it, if it needed to be done during his Presidency. Trump’s got the Big Boy Pants. I’m sure they’re not always comfortable.

MTG has the luxury of not being responsible for this decision.

Forever wars..

We have a forever national emergency with Iran.
Since the 70s.

The oldest National emergency and oldest Executive order from Carter is still active..

Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton,Bush,Obama,Trump, biden through a stolen election, Trump...

That’s pretty much MTG’s lifetime we’ve had a forever emergency with Iran..

Maybe it’s time for the forever and endless to really end..
